I rather enjoyed the debate last night. Watching Trump self-destruct was about as entertaining as one would expect.

So we are clear

I only recently was talking to someone complaining about the mudslinging during this election and simply put, why wouldn't they? Its far more effective to capitalize on your hate of the other party and general distrust of politicians than to appeal to logic and reason about the advantages of electing them. This is what I'm talking about, its just an ad hoc argument. Its attacking the person not the argument. I could be the most immature human being alive, that wouldn't mean my point was wrong.

So here's the thing, especially with that last part: Not every person on Earth needs to constructively contribute to every conversation, they never have, they never will. They don't have to. You are not entitled to nor should you expect that everyone will take your opinion seriously, let alone that they will inherently respond with respect to it. Aero. We are not the first generation to have Ad Hominem attacks. We ARE the first generation to have free and easy access to a source of information and communication that spans the globe. Andrew Jackson famously deflected attacks to his credibility for the presidency because of his wife's marital status. To suggest that this is NEW is a profound ignorance of the history of politics, and humanity at large.

Considering 'the problem' is that we have one political party that is openly and gleefully courting neo-nazis and fascists and another party too chickenshit to really do anything about it because 'fuck you got mine', you're gonna have to draw me a really good visual aid on where photoshopping Trump's hair on a cartoon pile of shit falls in this pool.

No, Hillary Clinton did not insult millennials who supported Bernie Sanders.
If anything, she was trying to empathize with those of us who are stuck in dead-end jobs and have no long-term opportunities for career advancement. Given the statements were not intended for public release, I honestly expected far worse. If anything, Hillary was more diplomatic than she needed to be. I look forward to the media spinning this as some major scandal that's in some way equal to all the bullshit Trump's been doing lately, though.

Listen to the audio clip - it wasn't remotely condescending. She was just describing the situation she saw young people stuck in. It was entirely sympathetic.

The problem is that many self-proclaimed progressives on my Facebook feed aren't the slightest bit interested in fact-checking their raging Hillary hate-boners

I mean there are only a few timely ways to bring down a boner, and when you have it you aren't thinking of the good ones.
