Today has been a good drawing day!

As far as tablets, if you're short on money, I would hold off on the tablet unless you're really serious about wanting to draw with it. I have one, but I don't use it very much (mostly when I need to write my signature). 90%+ of my computer work is all done with a mouse, so, unless you have a crap-tastic mouse (optical mouses work wonderfully), or you're really wanting/needing a tablet, I would hold off a little bit. But that's just me.

EDIT:

In true halloween spirit, who else do I carve than Ed himself?

Wow I really love her dress QQ. Such a great job with fabrics.

I'm a little... ahead of myself. I expected this to take longer than it did.

Kakashi is Santa! How else does santa get in and out of your house so easily?

I am unhappy with my fabrics though, does anyone have any good tutorials for coloring fabrics?

Hate to break up this cheeriness, come to think of it...not really, for a little gloomy imagery.

A variety of sources were used as an inspiration for this picture. A desire to break away from the linearts I've been doing for a long while now being a primary drive. The musics to get me in the mood for this were, not in this order.

CKY's Infiltrate.Destroy.Rebuild
E Nomine's Die prophezeiung (I love the effortless interwieving of German and Latin ever so much)
Panzer AG's This is My Battlefield
and a small helping of Oneiroid Psychosis' Stillbirth
Basically the more morbid and darker spectrum of my musical collection. Excellent mood music.

Skweeb, you've ever considered putting this stuff to flash? Music inspires me specifically to create moving imagery, but I lack the skills of flash and the money for a camera. I truly believe if I had some kind of resources, I'd produce something great, but it's all quelled, unfortunately--you're definitely the type, tho.

And now for something completely different (from me)

I got bored, and somehow I got inspired to do something really.... weird and different.

I know it's not the best edit ever, but I still like the feel of it. My friend says "it kind of looks like something you would see on the cover of a murder mystery" (I like the thumbnail, because it looks better there. ^^; )

protip: if your'e looking for critique--make the blood more stylized. hell, the whole thing. it looks cool in a thumb, as you said, but up close it's blurry and awkwardish. this is totally just my approach, but here's what a sleepless photoshop-filter abuser came up with:

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind. I might go back and mess with it some after I get done with my homework and other projects that need doing/fixing up

I've actually two pictures. This first one was drawn when I was utterly bored. I thought I'd draw someone doing something I normally don't draw a person doing, so I drew him lighting up a smoke. How his hands were positioned is what really stands out for me.

This next one is one I drew a long time ago, but I still like it. I really spent a lot of time tryin' to get the angles of her feet and arms right.

Also... Big freakin' heads!!

Very cool Zutsu. I really like the first one. ^^ The second one is good as well but the large head frightens me a bit. ^^ Good job with the smoke effect.
