All the trolls are insanely, unhealthily obese.

We can't see it because the metaphorical 'camera' that is this comic slims them up so they could fit on the computer screen, but they're all fat as hell.

I bet Earl is one of those people who refuses to believe their favorite character is dead even if their corpses are shown with a gaping hole in their heads where their spike went through.

Show the decayed, rotting, maggot-infested corpse and still he roars!

It's kinda cute, I guess, his childish innocence.

Not that it actually matters, since the only thing that would be possible to see are his eyes. Each of the kid's authority figure only has one facial characteristic.

And I really question "eyes = fire". That's rather stretching it I think.

Probably completely unrelated, but "Pyrope" means "Fire Eyes".

Yes, unrelated. "Pyrope" was suggested back when Hussie still had the Suggestion boxes open, and the basis for the suggestion was in all likelihood her glasses.

That it later turned out she got her eyes burnt out by the sun seems to have been partially inspired by this, but mostly it's just how Hussie rolls.
