Ok, we're either back to B_Real or to Moogle because two people have said he's republican.

Two investigators seems fairly reasonable evidence for me.
We still haven't worked out entirely how the media works, and that is one thing that is essential to work out.

I would be happy enough with a B_Real or a Stressball lynch while we try and get media underwraps but I think Moogle is pretty solidly under suspicion for now.

As for Media, it would still be useful to investigate targets that were looked at last night ignoring Victus who went crazy.
Cati, you should get in on that too and make sure you report it this time. Then we should be able to work out who you are by elimination.
And yes I'm going to continue giving Media instructions because it clearly states in the first thread that town/media have the same general win conditions. There may be some slight differences but it much better to work together to stave off the cult for now.

ApeBoy's comments make me think that a culted media can lie in its reports so that will be something to watch out for. Shouldn't be a problem this early though.

All previous accusations still stand, and I don't trust Cati. She was a democrat when she initially said that she was a media person, and she very well could have been lying. In fact, she refuses to give us a name, so nobody can counter-claim and all the media icons will just assume she's one of the other media people.

Until I hear which media persona Cati is and nobody counter-claims, her source is BS.

Also, Ape had to reorganize two games previously and he tends to take the path of least resistance. Each time, a lot of people kept their same roles and a very simple switch was made. This makes me think that Cati was made into the Democrat leader. Barring that, Cati was just mod-cleared, and the new Democrat leader would easily have seen Cati as a valid target for re-recruitment considering she's fresh off a modclaim as being "reset."

Edit: ALSO, I assume all the media icons are reporting. It's completely absurd to think that not only did Cati overlap in investigation with another media icon, but that her report was not included in the daypost. That makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE.

I postulate that Cati is speculating based on her former cult leader being correctly investigated and reported, and trying to back it up with a fake media claim. One that has no name, to boot.

Good points. I suppose I was way too quick to accept her claims at face-value after she was mod-cleared. I forgot that there was rearrangement after mod-clear.

To help this out, we need the media to perform acts discussed earlier over the night so we can sort out that mess.
Cati also needs to publish her results tommorow which, if she is telling the truth, will give us a new media name that we haven't had before.

Why make something more complicated than it needs to be? Simple is the best way to go.

However, I'd like to point out that:

1) The reset in Hot Fuzz Survival was simple in result, but not in practice, as I had to relay a bunch of misinformation to you all to make you think I'd changed a lot of people. In reality, changed one person, but in practice, did a good bit to convince the rest of the game I'd done more.

2) The reset in BioShock was a complete and utter role re-assignment and condition re-write. Not really so simple to do, just a simple solution.

Um, Cati... since you don't know your nme does it occur to you that you're probably the same person who reported Moogle as Republican in the end-of-night post. Unless of course you were lying, in which case you should come clean immediately.

This is stupid btw... if Victus is stupid enough to out himself like that he really deserves to be outted. I suppose not switching the CL screws up the game but it should be possible for us to win without just waiting to be culted. Anyway, at the very least I think Keith Olbermann deserves another investigation.

Well I'm going to have to call bullshit on Cati, either with her roleclaim or in the validity of her results. Because as far I know I haven't been culted yet (I haven't received any PMs indicating such) and I don't think Ape Boy would have missed something like that since he seems to be a GM who's ontop of things. Otherwise I'm good with either a B_real or Stress ball vote as we onto yesterday. Since B_real has gotten some votes thus far...
