If it's a reflection it would be an exact reverse reproduction
but then you would loose the battle ready stance. Something I'm sure you want to keep. Given artistic license I see what you're shooting for but you've created a difficult problem to work out. Making the game girl lighter, faded or blurred with reflections in the glass might help it to work. Making the background behind the glass dark might also help.

The main reason why people are being kinda stupid, for lack of a better term, about the picture with the girl and her reflection is this because the 'real' girl's hand is drawn along the lower line of the reflection girl's thigh. If at all possible overlapping parallels should be avoided unless it is absolutely necessary or unavoidable. As it causes slight confusion and lame misinterpretations, as you've just read.
Edit: just noticed that the reflection girl is looking from the corner of her eye at the non-reflecty girl. Such an extreme angle of sight also adds a 'surprise' factor to the face. Methinks the picture would infer more of that combat stance element if she were looking forwards instead of at herself. another installment to the doodle page. CJ: it seems like the IRL girl is looking forward, and the reflected image is looking more to her left, almost like she's seeing the IRL girl and is about to attack her. I'd suggest tweaking the reflected girl's face so it's more in profile, I think that would help.

Yeah, it was supposed to be like she was looking a different way (to further differenciate the "reflection" from the real girl, but judging by comments I guess it would be better to return the reflection to a profile look. (although it changes her direction of motion a bit so I have to redraw her cape and such) EDIT: it's looking good with her looking profile-y thanks for the suggestions everyone =D
So far the lineart's going really well, finished the lineart of the girl and I'm starting to work on the reflection. Skweeb -those drawings are cool (yet kind of scary!) Very nice hands, and I like the guy at the top (with the teeth).

Nice job on the monster Skweeb.
While we're all waiting on Jessa's revised, more family appropriate (just kidding:p ) version of her picture, I have a few of my own (sub-par) doodles that may distract people in the meantime. Yes, the spelling "Chickkin'" WAS intended. Sorry for the quality of the pictures. I had to get them on my computer with a camera since i don't have access to a scanner anymore.

Very cool Minner. I like the supa dupa racin' chikken and the other robotic/armored thing =D
And family appropriate my butt! The lineart is mostly done right now. Now to color this beast. Any hand-to-butt comments will be met with a swift kick =P heh. I'll be sure to do more of a reflective look for the colored version (so hopefully it will look more like a reflection rather than a lighter girl on the other side). *goes to look up pictures of skyscraper windows to help me* Also, I used a reference for the shape of the scenery and the dragon in the back.

You can email pictures from the photo channel, I think. Maybe you could figure out some way to exploit that. But there's no straight-forward way to do it.
Maybe the full browser will work better. It comes out next month.
