NAME: Premonitions
CLASS: Summoner/Bender APPEARANCE: About six feet tall, well built man with caramel complexion, has a loosely curled afro that completely covers his face above his nose at all times, regardless of the situation. His teeth are a row of shark-like fangs.. Might be wearing just a pair of pants, or a pair of shorts with a open button up shirt if he HAS to. Has a full body tattoo(ugh, I'm gonna get this soon and just typing it is annoying) The main construct of the tattoo are four bands about the length of the forearm, two just below the elbows and two on his shins. The right arm has a symbol of fire and is red, with coiling flames up the arms to the chest, the left has a symbol for water with coiling water winding up the arm, the left leg has the symbol for earth, with a rocky coil up the leg, the right leg a symbol for air with wind and clouds coiling up the leg. All of these connect in the center at his chest on the four respective points of a square inscribed into a circular dicromatic symbol.(yeesh) In his left palm he has the first half of the kanji for "ninja", on the right knuckles, the second half. PERSONALITY: Does'nt really care about whatever the fuck's going on at the moment, and mostly just wants to chill and have fun. Tries to wear as little as he can get away with. Still eccentric as hell, saying odd things and frequently violating personal space or just acting weird, don't worry, he does'nt mean anything bad by it. Also a bit of a nudist, NOT an exhibitionist. just don't ever tell him to get comfortable. EQUIPMENT:where would he keep it? ABILITIES: Physicality: Prem's body is'nt just for show, though he shows it a lot, he is highly skilled in combat due both to experience and a good degree of training, despite this he is only as able as a normal human being with a great deal of combat experience of his size and build, bullets,sharp items, and extreme crushing force will kill him. He can't bend steel, survive a fifty foot fall or resist any kinds of magic or psychic attacks. Tattoos: Has two main abilities both tied into his tattoos. These powers are limited by his ability to move in the proper manners, I.e. if any of his limbs are bound, he would not be able to utilize the ability contained in that limb's artwork. Ninja summoning: By Slamming his fist into his palm, he can summon up to five ninja, the more he summons, the weaker and less skilled they are. If one is destroyed, it will take a considerable amount of time to be "replaced" for the sake of this RP let's say a whole thread. Ninja have all the skill and physical ability of a well trained human being Each ninja has the exact same appearance and carries the same equipment: Smoke Bombs: explosive devices that emit a thick cloud of smoke when smashed or ignited. Shuriken: Bladed Throwing weapons. Claws: Hand to hand combat weapons, can also be used to scale walls Grappling Hooks: thethered weapons primarily used to scale walls but occaisonally used in combat Elemental Manipulation: Each of his limbs is marked with a different one of the four western classical elements. Earth: With his Left leg he can control the earth and propel stone with amazing force, by stomping, kicking, and sweeping the ground he can create pillars, spikes, launch stones, and other similar abilities. If his leg is not touching the ground, or stone, he cannot use this ability. Air: with his Right leg he can manipulate the air in order to slow or speed his descent or ascent, increase his running speed, and even add speed and force to his own kicks, certain circular motions such as spinning kicks, flares, windmills and similar movements. can be used to create localized wind phenomena, like miniature vacums, and gusts Water: With his left arm, he can control existing bodies of water, making powerfu waves, bursts, jets and other similar skills with water, he can also control the state of the water forming ice or steam. When no water is present he can usually control the humidty in the surrounding are to a certain degree. He can only control water he can see. Fire: with his right arm he can manipulate flames and ignite most things, as well as rapidly increase the temperature in a given area. BACKSTORY: Premonitions once was a hyper active, insane young man, he was also a lot darker skinned and had eyes, but more importantly nothing he did made sense. He dissapeared for a good while and came back, covered in his tattoos and possessing brand new abilities, apparently with NO idea of anybody he had met before. Alright! Time to add to the pile of bios with my own debut in Avvie. Here's hoping it's alright. Sorry about the length, I wanted to include examples in the vaguer (read: less defined because I can't think of how to do it) abilities. Sadly, I don't think they helped much. I'll get a better idea of my inclinations as the game goes, but, I'll preface with: I don't intend to be able to do anything in either form.
Name: Teal Appearance: Depends! Teal shiftshapes, but he's normally a slimly built, 5’7, kitty boy with tussled blond hair. Has slightly elongated canines, cat ears and a tail, both sandy blond. Wears a white sleeveless top, dark blue pants over black boots. Outfit completed with a thin leather belt, and white cloth arm-braces. His eyes are teal. Other forms vary and may only appear once. Abilities: Teal Magic, Teal's mysterious magical powers, which are governed by vague and ambiguous laws! Highly variable and personality dependent, the spells available to him vary dependent on forms. Normally it he has access to a wide array of combat suited magic, curses and spells of the more esoteric variety, with healing as a much lesser focus. It leans more toward skill then power, and often is unnecessarily pretty. Normally likes to be blue-green. Rose Form, The beautiful, vermilion haired, beggar princess. Her magic manifests defensively around her in a field of paranormal suppression, it dampens supernatural phenomena with varying rates of success. Said success depends on the strength of the enemy and the attack. She's also highly skilled in barriers, healing and other less then offensive spells. Most spells are accompanied with pink light, rose petals, and a feeling of love. Hyper Mode, Teal Magic is strongly linked to personality, and when that personality snaps, a high level of power is released. The exact effect varies depending on form, but generally offers an aura of some kind as well as a boost to physical condition, for a short time. After which all spells and magical abilities are out of reach. Normally this mode boasts high speed teleporting and a boost to magical power. In Rose Form, the suppression field contracts around her and magical power makes her otherwise pathetic attacks extremely damaging. Equipment: Dragon Dagger VT, A sinister blend of magic and science, this short green, black, and gold dagger is a prop from his first RP ever, a Power Ranger one. Alas, the only record is a poorly written post made by a newb, after being told by Nikose in PM to add it in (Read at your own risk, if you disbelieve! ). VT stands for Variant Teal, he’s increased it’s repertoire of laser attacks (like adding a beam whip!), coated it to repel energy attacks and, most importantly, given it the ability to talk with a magic-science gemstone! Nicknamed Dee, Teal always has it. Oh, did I mention the Giant Dragon Mecha it can summon? Dragonzord VT, it's the Dragonzord, a giant, mechanized, Dragon. VT, in this case, just means Teal’s given it magic fire breath, and made the lasers green-blue. It's old weapons, (Laser eyes, six chest lasers, missile hands and drill tail) all remain. Unless something equally big (and bad) shows up, it probably won’t be called. Teal's good at restraint! It also has a tragically limited battery life (that seems to work until it stops being dramatic) so he can't use it much. A conservative estimate is it has enough one for part of one battle. Then Teal needs to use his cellphone charger on it. Preferred Method of Revive: Hospital. Misc: Gender is as nothing to Teal! He's capable of changing his appearance-clothing and all-without any magic. It's a racial skill, very helpful for getting into characters.

Name: "Call me Steel" Shadow Appearance: Black hair, brown eyes, orange cape, blue clothing. Fairly simple. Hey I found the sprite Abilities: Time control: Being a being created of the temporal nexus has a few advantages. For one, Steel can rewind or fast forward time about 3 seconds. Just enough time to avoid being impaled or some other nasty fate. Going forward effectively removes Steel from the universe for 3 seconds. Steel's the only one who remembers those three seconds should he go into the past, since it didn't actually happen. It takes a good chunk of his power to jump in time, using it to much to quickly will exhaust him. Time shield: Steel can surround himself with Stopped time, becoming completely invulnerable to anything up to the entire universe exploding and beyond. Unfortunately he's also invulnerable to air in this state, so it only lasts as long as he holds his breath. The one thing that can get through this shield is chaos magic. Time, being extremely lawful, can't stop an extremely powerful chaos attack. Temporal Telekinesis: Steel can create areas of stopped time. They size of the area he stops is limited to how close he is. Directly next to him the area is nearly as large as he is, 5 feet away it's the size of a tennis ball. The limit's about 10 feet, at which point there's barely any influence at all. This allows him to stop peoples hearts, amongst other things. Also he can use it to "technically" fly by moving time directly beneath him. The effort it takes varies, depending on the distance, size and duration. Speediness: Steel can move really fast (like, zoom!). You might think this is because he slows down time, but no. Do you know how big the universe is? It's huge! But Steel himself is really small in comparison. He just speeds his own time up. It's a constant drain on his power reserves, so extended use is out of the question. Equipment: Time blade: It's a sword. Or more accurately, it's a sword hilt. The actual blade is made of stopped time, the strongest material known to man and god alike. The blade is created by Steel's subconscious mind, in a general sword shape. It's sharpness is directly proportional to Steel's focus. If he's focused, it can become sharp enough to cut through nearly anything. If he's not, it can be as blunt as a celebrity talent show judge. Just a regular old quarterstaff: Yup. It's fairly dull really. Just a big stick. The reasoning being that if he's not focused enough to use his sword, he's going to need some help standing up. It's slightly taller than him, and it has a hard "thwack" but that's about it. Prefered method of revive: NPF hospital or, in a pinch, The central Temporal Nexus (fun to say five times fast), which is a teensy bit farther away, and they really don't like him very much there. Misc: He's taking blatent advantage of the Avvy communitys aparent hatred of continuity to get his old powers back. Despite this he doesn't realise how insanely broken his abilities could be if used right, and never will. Um, unfortunatly my past RP track record would indicate I'll get really involved in this, then RL will dogpile me and I'll fall behind. I'll try not to, but gosh darnit if it didn't happen every time. Appologies for the past and hopefully avoidable future.

NAME: Mauve Mage. Mauve to her friends. CLASS: .....Mage. APPEARANCE: You've seen my sprites. She wears a pink long-sleeved dress that comes to just above her knees. She has a purple cape of some sort. She has yellow boots. And she has a badass pink hat with a feather. Short blonde hair, blue eyes. Yeah. PERSONALITY: Mauve would describe herself with two words: Modest and Awesome. She tends to leave out the fact that she's stubborn, a bit mentally unbalanced, tenacious to a fault, and quick to anger. She also tends to ignore anything she dislikes that she can't change through violence or trickery. She's actually quite clever when it comes to problem solving... even though most of said problems are solved through the aforementioned violence. Getting on her bad side is generally a bad idea, since she holds grudges and sees nothing wrong with exacting revenge. That being said, she's surprisingly loyal to those she considers friends. WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT: Knives: Mauve carries a pair of knives, which can be used in melee combat or thrown. She can also cast a few spells on them if she so desires. She lacks physical strength, so it's not like Mauve + knife = super awesome stabbing killing machine. But it's something to fall back on if her enemies are immune to magic, or if she runs out of MP. Pockets of Near Infinite Holding: Mauve has pockets of near-infinite holding. Not even she knows her exact inventory anymore. For some reason, despite this she always manages to take out something that would be useful to her situation. Whether this is magic or some sort of plot device is unknown. ABILITIES: Oh, here we go. Prepare for the TLDR. Maaaagic!: Just Vague Enough to Work Having the word "Mage" right there in her name should've given you a hint. Let's clarify a bit: -Teh blak majiks: Mauve specializes in offensive spells. In addition to elemental magics, Mauve has developed the ability to manipulate pure magic energy. When she does this, it appears as a purplish fire or smoke. Mauve has an incredible amount of control over the behavior of any magic projectile she creates in this fashion. She's also quite talented at creating shields around herself or her allies. The stronger or larger a shield, however, the greater the percent of her attention and MP the shield requires. -Teh Whyte Majix: In addition to the aforementioned shields, Mauve can perform a handful of healing spells and status effects. Status effects include the basic Final Fantasy stuff like Slow and Blind, and healing spells are... well... healing spells. She doesn't know any super powerful healing spells, though. -It's Super Effective!: Mauve's limit break-esque spell, currently unnamed because naming it means I'd have to define it more clearly and that's not how I do things. If she's really desperate, or really pissed off, Mauve can force all of her MP into one massive blast of magic. The effect can either be wide- or short-range, depending on how she forms the spell. It is incredibly draining, however, and will leave her weakened after casting it. -"Ha! Your magic is USELESS against me! But that gun you're carrying scares the crap out of me.": Mauve may not have much in the way of physical defense (let's face it, she's built like a twig), but she has an insanely high magic defense. It takes a pretty nasty spell to cause her any serious damage. Swords, axes, guns, clubs, et cetera, however, will have little problem causing damage if they can hit her. REVIVAL METHOD: She's never died before, but she assumes that if she got killed during one of these adventures, she'd come back to life by either gettin' resurrected at the hospital, or by giving Death the finger and using the Gandalf method. The latter is particularly appealing because she'd probably get new powers and a better wardrobe. But because it's appealing, it's probably the least likely to occur. MISC: She's managed to get through seven Avatar games without having to clearly define what "Mauve Magic" is. She considers this one of her greatest achievements. Also, she's totally more awesome than you. Yes, you know who you are.

I'm sure I'm missing a point or two but this is going to be my last opportunity to post for a little while, so I'd prefer to get something up.
Overcomplication, go! Name: Arhra Class: Avatar of Chaos. Appearance: While the various versions of Arhra have their differences, they share some general traits (like being short). She looks a little overworldly, having bright red eyes and being luminously pale. Countering the albino look, she has glossy black hair. Personality: Arhra is a creature of Chaos and thus characterised by erratic behaviour and frequent, gleeful defiance of the laws of physics. Whatever she commits to, she does with passion that outshines the Sun. She tends to attack things she doesn't commit to with apathy that outshines a candle. She also attacks idiots. Prone to folly and bizarre metamorphoses. Common Abilities: Stuff Arhra has in common. Chaos Magic: As a creature of Chaos, Arhra is not firmly bound by the laws of the universe. Essentially, Arhra can overrule reality. The greater the departure from the real, the more power needed to sustain it. Arhra instinctively uses it to maintain her more beloved delusions, explaining phenomena like things she punches hard enough tending to explode. She is more powerful in places that are less real, which includes places where she's been using a lot of magic, meaning the occaisonal triumph over the rude boundaries of space, time and, eventually, sanity. Explosive Reincarnation: Arhra has been known for her capacity to spontaneously reincarnate herself in a new body. Having doppelgangers has interfered with this ability. Explaining why makes her mutter vaguely about icebergs. Shapechange: Arhra supposedly can do this. She even supposedly used it for something once or twice. She still might just be making it up. Preferred Method of Revival: A complex series of... bah, screw it. Hospital. Backstory: Arhra first did stuff at times in a continuity that is now frowned upon. briefly almost causing the end of the world and then weaselling out of punishment via outright bribery. At some point, Arhra and Rhiya got involved in some unpleasant fusion dance/temporal paradox happenings that resulted in no less than five paradox clones appearing. They numbered themselves in order of appearance for ease of reference. Things get hazy past here, given dreams, abandonment and a "don't ask, don't tell" policy to history, but there is one thing Arhra is certain about: she is plotting to take out her other clones. They are concerned about the possiblity of recombination overloading whichever Arhra was left, necessitating elaborate schemes against each other. It is messy. Name: Arhra I (Arhra Classic!) Appearance: Arhra looks exactly like Arhra. Surprising. Unlike Arhra, Arhra I glows all the time, including a golden haze surrounding her. She's taken to wearing black trimmed white robes, to get that healer look. Abilities: Energy Infusion: Arhra is constantly producing energy and can use it to heal and do a variety of simple enhancement effects. She can increase her output by act of will and it scales with drama and emotion. It is good at making things bigger and better rather than hurting people, although she could boost someone else's attack. Her chaos magic has changed to reflect this. She might be creating matter and energy from nothing. Holy crap. Affix Soul: Arhra can attach part of her soul to something to possess it. Optionally, she can absorb the object back into herself to gain some of its qualities. She can even take over weaker living creatures. If a copy is killed, Arhra's permanently weakened that much. However, she assures people her soul is 'like a starfish' and she'll recover from it. She could jump bodies by attaching her whole soul. Its not clear what this would do to a living creature - it probably would cause a body swap. Two Arhras In One: Due to messing with attaching soul fragments to haunted rocks, Arhra picked up a passenger. Arhra IV, who technically died fighting an evil doppelganger as part of her run of bad luck but clung furiously to existence. When she's dominant, she can be distinguished by her lack of pupils, violence, rough manner and possibly the ability to generate semi-crystalline matter and turn into a dragon. She can be temporarily called out like a summon or cast into others to give them a boost. Notes: Arhra I had energy draining abilities for a long time but after recombining with a number of knockoff copies of herself, changed to this. She's trying to improve her terrible reputation by dedicating herself to white mage-dom. Name: Arhra II Appearance: For obvious reasons, Arhra II looks much like Arhra. However, she also seems to fit very clearly into the evil sorceress archetype. Her choice of dress is both black and extravagent, and there seems to be more cleavage and general clinginess than is normal for Arhra. The other Arhras blame the sorcery and the evil. Abilities: Chaos Sorceress: Arhra II is more magically powerful than normal, particularly for the purposes of hurting people. It also seems to involve more purple dye and more revealing clothes. Chaos Wings: Arhra II can manifest fancy shapeshifting energy wings. They are absurdly tough and she does hurtful things with them. Equipment: The Sundered Heart of Chaos: This is a cracked, dark gem with opaline fires smouldering dimly in its depths. Though most of its power has dissipated, the broken Heart of Chaos can still be coaxed into producing the occaisonal miracle. Notes: Arhra II may have probably turned kind of evil back when she allied with the God of Nothing. After it maybe didn't happen, moping over the fact Rei Zeus no longer exists and never did wouldn't have helped either. This is complicated by the fact none of this may not have happened yet again. Name: Arhra III Appearance: By far the angriest looking of the Arhras, Arhra III is also the most athletic. Also she has the shortest hair. She just has to be different. For reasons that are explained under notes, she's also a succubus with the standard features, including small horns, bat wings and skimpy attire. Equipment: Arhra III is holding on to two parts of a trinity of chaotic artifacts, a crown and scepter respectively. She has been known to refer to the scepter as her Mace of Kill Everything, for good reasons. The crown has vaguely defined powers of vagueness. Abilities: Arhra III was completely powerless, but certain events have given her what could pass for powers, if not examined too closely. Training From Hell: Not one to wuss out, Arhra III actually went to Hell for training from hell. As a result, she's a wonderfully violent person, like unto a mini-Chocobo. Crappy Succubus Powers: She turned into a demon and all she got was halfassed dream invasion and always looking hot. Universal Hatred: Arhra III hates the universe and the universe hates her. Notes: Due to the fusion/time hijinks with Rhiya, Arhra III lost all of her powers. To offset this loss, she started doing training from hell. At a picnic in hell she got involved in a bet with a demon lord and lost, getting transformed into a demonic minion. then Rhiya usurped him, making her Rhiya's minion. She's not terribly happy about any of this. Name: Arhra V Appearance: For some reason, one of the Arhras that popped out of temporal paradox was a cyborg. She's in the middle of changing over to her second generation body and doesn't yet have most of her systems online. Visually, the net outcome of this seems to be looking like jailbait. As her fully adult form is quite tall, she's still slightly taller than the other Arhras. She wears an armoured bodysuit. Abilities: Technological Assimilation: Arhra V can fuse with technology, subverting it and incorporating it into herself. It either comes with a rampant tech-lust or Arhra is just being Arhra. Unfortunately, her dimensional storage is offline - she'll have to carry any new machinery with her. Magimech Tekkamech: Arhra V operates on a sinister blend of magic and technology, making her fast, strong and tough like some kind of killer robot. Her magical ability is nearly nonexistent, as its powering her subsystems. Intalled Systems: Due to her incomplete changeover, Arhra V has a limited number of systems operational. - Chaos Extractor: Rips the chaos out of things. Used for a quick recharge. - Self Repair: Arhra V can absorb materials from her environment to make repairs to her body because of nanites or something. - Mana Cannon: Arhra V's only functional weapon system. Powerful, but she's encountered issues with firing outside of its charged mode. - Mechadendrites: Retractible tool equipped cables/tentacles for interfacing with machinery and doing many useful things. Arhra V has less than she normally does. - Ouroboros Drive: This is the fruit of some worrying research Arhra V has conducted, an experimental device that allows her to travel a maximum of 2.57 seconds into the past or the future. The range is absolute and cannot be chained to allow hops deeper into the past or future. If she would appear inside something, both her and the object are shunted out of each other, causing damage depending on the level of overlap and relative toughness. If traveling backwards, she will replace her previous self - she will never be in two places at once. However, her personal timeline is always preserved; she can't hop back in time to undo damage to herself.

Bard: I thought bards played musical instruments, not be emo and have summons. Ah well approved after you answer a question. How many of your summons can you have out at a time? Krogo: Approved. Be wary of yourself, if you lose control you will probably get killed ya know. Prems: Approved. Only thing is that you can't mix your bending, like you can't use both arms at the same time for bending. Feel free to alternate between them easily however. Teal: Looks entertaining. Come on in to the waters of Avvy its fun. My only concern is that your dragonzord. If you give it a limited power supply, so that you just can't pull it out willy nilly, then its fine. Steel: Couple things. First off, when you have your time shield out, you are stuck in place for the duration, and the shield takes... let's say half a second to deploy. You can use your powers to make it even faster but more drain. So insta-blocking any attack isn't going to happen. Be careful with the time jumps as well, I see abuse and I'll let you know you are running dry. Approved however. Muave: Approved. Repeatedly. With a stick. Arhra: Oh boy. Approved. Wary with the time machine, but otherwise you are fine. Okay, that takes care of everyone. We got plenty of people already, and I don't mind letting people jump in the middle of the rp, so I'm going to go ahead and say this thing will be starting in the next couple of days. You know, leave time for anyone else to sign up. |

I've played enough crazy beserker types, and worse, to know that. I've been a Gutbuster in D&D and that sucks, you just run in battle and find out at the end if you lived or died. It's a great way to play the game though lol. Besides, if I'm going to die, I want to at least fuck shit up while insane

Appearance: A small child, with long hair wearing a kimono with sleeves that are too long. When I say, long hair, I mean it. We're talking an ocean of hair, almost looking like cousin it if it weren't for this hair sprawling all over the place, and picking up cows like kudzu. Abilities: Halloween Themed goodness! Dark Fyre: It's not Pyros if there's not fire. Admittedly, this fire hellfyre's earthly cousin, less opulent than dragonfyre, and burns the nonphysical rather than the physical. ZOMG MY SOUL IS ON FIRE/FYRE! Hair Scare: Hair is completely controllable, for use as a weapon, locomotion, and playtime with ribbons. Less Millia Rage and more Creepy hair tentacles EVERYWHERE. Power of Creepy/Rule of Horror.: Pyros is capable of dissappearing in and out of the shadows, affecting reality, popping out of TV's, appearing when least expected, breaking the laws of physics whenever it's scary. Sorta the Sadako mirror of "Rule of Funny" People Puppets: Slain or unconscious enemies can be controlled if consumed by Pyros's hair, and have hair popping out from nowhere tied to all major limbs and joints, allowing Pyros to use their abilities and body, furthermore Pyros can use the ghostly 'image' of these characters anyway it wants as well. ScreamBloodyMurder: Pyros is a little less family friendly (at least until November 1st.) Equipment: A stuffed kitten, a red haired barbie doll, and a burning sword. All are pretty self explanatory: Halloween Basket: Pyros is trick or treating early this year. Pyros will only fight if gratuities are given. Prefered method of revive: Pyros will pop back up from the shadows, from a TV, call your cell phone, replace your reflection, and drag an enemy to hell and swap places with it. Typical horror stuff. Miscellaneous: Pyros is festive for halloween, and decided to play a scary part. Think one part Sadako from Ringu, one part young Alma Wade from F.E.A.R., one part Osaka from Azumanga, and with the "ScreamBloodyMurder", one part Alucard from Hellsing. S-ko from Guilty Gear works too. Normal Pyros will resume after October (cuz if this is a full fledged, non cursed RP, it'll last to christmas), with the normal attacks, spells, and godhood.
