That was THE MOST, PUREST, let down in the HISTORY of minigame let downs. I thought it would be an action based little minigame with 3 dimensions to attack from!

Instead, they let the game be only on two planes and it's FF Tactics!

Oh blitzball, I hated that game too. Words cannot express how many times I hated it, and getting the jecht shot or whatever that thing is called... Could never pull it off, yeah I'm lame I know...

I couldn't understand FF9's game because it was so damn confusing...

The thing was the expectation of Blitzball. You see the FMV of Tidus playing before the first part of the game is registered. I seriously wanted to send people OUT of the sphere with some hard hits. I also wanted to see something to the effect of air respirators and action commencing on the field, increasing the strategy.

Instead, I get what I posted above. Don't get me wrong though... I went on to get the Jecht Shot 1, 2, and 3...

Unlocked Wakka's ultimate...

Even had Jecht on my team...

But I had a seething thing in the back of my mind about how Square tricked me. Even if the game was fun it just sucked that it could have been so much better. :stressed:

I didn't care for FF8 for one reason, it was specifically designed to have some of it's neat stuff unlocked with that stupid pocket station that NEVER CAME TO THE US! Back on topic though, I liked FF8's card game but the constant changing of the rules seemed annoying though.

No, I'm being serious. You have to get all of the Shots and win a LOT, but he's unlockable as a free agent. I got him late in the game and don't know if that has anything to do with it. Seriously, it's been 7 years since I played FFX but I can tell you:

Having Jecht and his shot on my team, I absolutely DOMINATED from midfield. I could have 4 guys block WITH the shot and I still own.
