That is an issue. Do you have a hair clipper? Careful application of that can cut things down to size after a scissors. And any scissor will do. Including the kind that you give kids after they're old enough to complain that safety scissors don't actually cut anything.

Well yeah, I have a pair of dull kitchen scissors used to cut anything from paper to plastic, but they're kind of unwieldy, besides, if I really need to get cleanly shaven, I can always buy a proper hair-clipper.

Here's an update on my face. Since yesterday, the cuts have scabbed over much more, and i can see them clearly now. There's 3 on my chin, and 4 at the corner of my jawbone, (right near my jugular vein! eep!), with a couple of shallow ones in between.
I can only make it sharper while i'm waiting for them to heal, and try again...

It'll be so sharp that, as it goes through the jugular, the heat from the friction caused by the air speeding around the blade so fast will cauterize the wound and - maybe even - fuse it shut.

I use 3 Schick razors each with 3 blades. I rotate them so that one isn't always used and doesn't recieve constant water damage and rusting. In addition to this, I use Gillette Shaving cream with moisturizer because I find the shave to me smother that way. I also try not to let my facial hair grow out to long. The longer the facial hair gets, the more difficult it is to shave it off, so every 2-3 days i need to shave if I want to avoid getting cuts.

However, I really must try a shower shave at one point in the near future...

For that sort of hair I hold it out and use the barber shaver on my electric razor to get rid of it. Then I finish up with the flat edges.
