A daring bot rescue in Left 4 Dead 2
This made me laugh my arse off, and yes, it does happen. I tried myself in a slightly different area to exactly the same results. The game is quite a bit better than the first, so I'm happy with it so far.

Aaaand the Midnight Riders site just got a lot of new stuff on it. Including a link to the Valve store where you can buy a Riders shirt.

Oh, something cool:
You know how in the Left 4 dead 2 demo, and in the full game, there's a Jukebox? And if you listen to it, but there are two Johnathan Coulton songs (Still Alive, and Re: Your Brains) and two other songs, along with Saints go marching in and stuff, if you hit select it enough. Well, if you really like the songs, you can go to the SteamApps older (for instance in my Demo): C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2 demo\left4dead2\sound\music\flu\jukebox\ And get the .wavs. Convert them to mp3, or whatever, and it'll shave off a good amount of their size. "All we want to do is eat your brains. We're not unreasonable, I mean no one's gonna eat your eyes." It's in both the Demo and the Full game. First learned about how much was on the Jukebox from Achievement hunter, and then curiousity got the better of me, and voila, I'm listening to the full song on Winamp. The rest of the orchestral music included in the game is pretty good too, if you listen in the music folder. Oh, the other two songs are called "Bad man" and "Midnight Ride", and probably by that fictional group featured in L4D.

Be wary of trying to get achievements. Lots of people (including myself) have gotten theirs totally wiped.
I lost Guardin' Gnome because of this. |

Another fact: During the crescendo event with the band's stage and the music, the tank's theme is changed to a rock version to fit the mood. The files for the rock themes are called "One bad tank" and "Midnight tank", inspired by those two songs from the band. |
