Oh man do I love Deadpool. Especially during the time when Rhino gets shrunken down to the size of a toy figurine, when T-Ray tries to break him down by showing him everyone he's ever murdered, and that time in Superman/Batman Annual #1.

Wait, that wasn't a Marvel comic.

I don't like it when the big men cancel such a successful series like that, those jerks. If they're going to cancel Cable & Deadpool then I want a new Deadpool story arc.

Also... it's not that i dont Like .. it's just that... they arent all that appealing to meas Super-heroes... i mean.. Deapool is almost an excuse for a writer to go batshit insane without being noncanon.. and cable is an excuse for anywriter to canonize or de-canonize anything anybody has ever done...

Other than that, the fact that Cable has Shoulders bigger than his Head freaks me out... and for that alone he dosent deserve a solo Comic...

Deadpool actually started out basically exactly as ploddingly awful as Cable started out, both having been disgorged by the bleak and ravaged wasteland that is Rob Liefeld's 'imagination', but then Joe Kelly rescued him and made him Teh Funnay.

Original Deadpool, the Liefeld Deadpool, wasn't very interesting. He just beat the snot out of a bunch of superheroes and acted very much the badass.

Deadpool circa Deadpool #1(Yes, his own comic series!) was very funny.

Deadpool deserves to at least show up in other comics...like have him pop in on spider-man or something, just at random. If I was the writer I would so do that because when you need to laugh you can just go BLAM DEADPOOL.

Also, I'd love to see a Deadpool miniseries where he teams up with other people for an issue, but they can't stand him so he gets abandoned for another partner.

Probably won't happen, sadly. Which is a shame. So much potential in a "Deadpool and..." miniseries...
