A Threat to the District
|
Lately I have been reading a lot about theoretical physics and thought experiments. Parallel universes are what I have been really looking into though, for some reason it is really interesting.
Taking things apart and putting them back together. I usually don't get to the second part though. When I tried to strip my remote control down to just the chip and rehook it up so it was thinner I got to the chip but it did not last long for I lacked something to reattach the wires to the chip. Electrical tape didn't work too well. I also share Zilla's interst in off limits places.

Things that can roll in any way can generally keep me entertained for at least 10 minutes. A wheel, a ball, etc.
I'm not big on off limits places because I've never really been one to break rules and stuff... I like exploring though. I also love climbing up trees and stuff, but not rock faces. Rock faces = OH MY GOD FALLING AAAAAH NO PLEASE GOD AAAH (but it's only in my head....). Also, when I'm bored in math class, I do this on my calculator, which is less of an interest, more of something interestingly weird about me: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 000 00 00 00 00 00 00 0 0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 000 00 00 00 00 00 00 0 0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 000 00 00 00 00 00 00 0 0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 000 00 00 00 00 00 00 0 0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 000 00 00 00 00 00 00 0 0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 000 00 00 00 00 00 00 0 0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 000 00 00 00 00 00 00 0 0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 Yeah... then I hold the up or down arrow and it loosk cool. But it takes forever >.< |

C all me emo or nihilistic or what have you, but I am interested in death and what happens when you die. Not that I want to go and off myself but it has piqued my curiosity.

How about this: Looking up unused prototypes of weapons, and figuring out how they could've been used in battle.
Also, I'm a bit of an amatuer astronomer. Sometimes when I'm bored at work, I can be seen poking around sites like space.com and whatnot.

Lately I've gained a bit of a taking towards listening people debate. Like, I'll ask them a question, maybe "Do you think silence is losing its place in the modern world?" or something about their thoughts on religion or politics, then listening to their point of view and there reasoning. It's just incredibly interesting to me.
...and I think that's all I'm really interested in, actually. Unless you count how I enjoy cooking and playing video games.. |

All you people keep reminding me of more and more interests I have. I have TOO MANY!
Interest in medical stuff was the big one I forgot. I have a giant nurse's book on a load of diseases and symptoms, how to treat them... kind of gruesome, kind of intellectually entertaining. Sucking chest wounds? Sure, sounds like something I should know how to fix. Why not? If I ever go through surgery, I'm so watching. I don't know how, maybe rig up a camcorder.

I'm also a Chinese history and mythology geek. This has progressed to the natural conclusion; I'm in Beijing, learning Mandarin Chinese.
And I have my own copy of Romance of the Three Kingdoms that I'm ever so slowly reading through, as well as Water Margins, I think it got translated as? So yes. Happy geek is me.
