So you would play a character, the size of a mouse but that can stand and move like a human, has a sword the size of a toothpick, and wouldn't be able to speak with the group? oookay...
Sizes are never really given in concrete terms, only in comparison to other creatures, so I always figured they were human sized. And Redwall villians would be really stupid to fight, we could just stomp them all in to oblivion... I think the evil scientists would be at least a little smarter than that, although maybe I'm overestimating their intelligence... I would think that a Redwall character would be human sized (the mice at least, the others would be appropriate sizes in comparison) and would be able to speak english if they are in this RP.

Alright. Let's do some checking.
SS-Hilarious. I'll be using jokes for your guy so often. IHMN- The scientist is a geneticist, so just for the sake of argument, we'll have it that your mouse can speak both english and mouse. He can easily switch between the two. And simply for ease, we're going to have the mouse be relatively human size. You can have him be a small human size, but human sized. If you're really small, we're going to have some serious problems that I can see. Forever- We'll be starting either tommorow or the day after. I want to give people the chance to get their characters together, and to be all set. Plus, I don't think BM would want to miss out on this. I wanted to be Roland of Gilead really badly in the other RP. I don't want him to miss out.

Ok, I'll have to put a hussle on my search for a character then. I hate being so lazy I don't unpack sooner sometimes...
Since there seems to be a lot of Fantasy characters, I'll hunt down a good sci-fi one. I'm tempted to call Star Wars, but that seems too easy, although it would let me be a jedi and fight Storm Troopers or maybe Yuuzhan Vong since BM's jedi RP fell through... EDIT: I'll probably go with Star Wars, I'll post a character tomarrow.

The other guy I was thinking of, I can't remember his name, but he is in the book The Forever War, and he gets that nice powered armor I was talking about, but the enemies aren't very good because it turns out at the end of the book none of the aliens were meant for war anyway, and they were losing badly and humanity just didn't know it...
Bah, science fiction has too many twists...[/QUOTE] *mouth is hanging open* I just started The Forever War.....YOU BETTER HAVE NOT RUINED ANYTHING FOR ME!!! IT BETTER BE COMMON KNOWLEDGE EARLY ON IN THE BOOK THAT THE ALIENS WERE NOT MEANT FOR WAR. OTHERWISE I'LL GUT YOU LIKE A FISH!!!

Down Gato! Down! Sit boy! Don't make me get the newspaper!
I'll probably end up putting my character in tommorow. Or the day after.

O_O
>_> <_< Well, got to go... I didn't think anyone else would have even heard of it, my dad had an old copy lying around one day and I picked it up and started reading it and got hooked. It is still an awsome read regradless of knowing that. Read it, with my apology for those unwise words, but with the knowledge that it is one of my favorite books and an awsome read. That tidbit doens't play a huge role anyway, it is sort of thrown in at the last minute at one point, you'll see a lot more shocking things that I've left out...

I don't think I'll be Roland, I don't wanna be selfish and take away what Raiden wants and then get grounded after Monday...
Instead, I've narrowed it down to three (A) Wolf from 'The Talisman' (he's a 'were-wolf' whos really big and hulking, but not overly violent...or smart...in the book he herds sheep, then gets caught up in the journey...but when he gets attacked he fights back, and when he is close to dying *or full moon obviously* he turns into a werewolf...) OR POSSIBLY choice (2) One of the adult people from Harry Potter OR (C) One of the people from Animorphs I'm leaning towards (A) since he was my favorite character in my fave book, and since I'd get teased if I chose (2) and my memory is hazy for (C).... |

Name: Elminster, Sage of Shadowdale
Book Title: The Temptation of Elminster and forward in the series. Villain: Name a dark force. Sharrans, followers of Bane, Any of the Red Magi, etc... Appearance: Very old, with a long white/grey beard. Wears Red mage robes and a matching wizard's hat. Often travels in disguise, though. Carries a staff at times, typically puffs on a magical pipe all day. Weapons: His magic. He carries a sword under his clothing, and also a staff. Items: Lots. Personality: Quiet but kind. Neither aloof nor gregarious. Loving father figure to the daughters of Mystra (Goddess of Magic, keeper of the weave). He has the reserved wisdom of a man who should have died hundreds of years ago, but kept on truckin'. Always plans ahead for every battle or fight. Skills: He has magic and is damn good at it. He has had some experience in theivery, but it was...er...a while ago. He is physically apt and thus can engage well enough in physical combat, but his true lethality is in his utter mastery of most all magics known to man, and some that are not. He even has some divine spells stored away. extra: A chosen of Mystra, as well as her lover. He will never die of age, so long as she wills him to live. Can harness the raw energy of the weave and create spellfire, a raging torrent of pure magic that annihilates all in its path. Yes? No?
