Black Belt was less naive and more directionally dysfunctional. His basic personality was more in terms of mindlessly following WM's orders and destroying anything that broke at whim (or constant training), aside from such "good" things as people's completed homes, average people, etc. Most of the rest of his personality was centered around gay jokes and being a warm body for WM to talk to. He was aware of the damage he caused, but never stopped in his effort to better himself. Black Mage was even amazed at his capacity for violence. Dragoon, on the other hand, is very polite, rather naive (not realizing the pain he causes and having been misled by Muffin), patient, and lacking in intentional destructive tendencies. He has yet to make an excuse for his actions, and hasn't done anything he'd need to excuse himself for. Also, his sense of direction would have to be impeccable for him to travel by using Jump, since he'd have to know where population centers would be to maximize the chances of having a valid target to land on. I'm failing to see any major similarities past the fact they're both relatively happy people.

Dragoon's smarter than Blackbelt by far, as Dragoon was only tricked because he had never seen a dragon before, and had no reason to believe Muffin was evil, as muffin was quite possibly the most polite and merciful of the Fiends seen yet (Didn't immediately kill people, listened to what Red Mage and Thief had to say to it and disagreed with them verbally before resorting to violence). Also, Dragoon's sense of direction is superb, as calculating the trajectory for a jump to an island in the sky, onto the head of a giant dragon with critical precision has to count for something.
I have to agree with the team effort, because as we all know, a truely efficient team has one member digging (for loot), and 3 other members watching him do it. And considering the circumstances, maybe another guy being entirely ignored. |

To be fair, ethereal forces guide him unerringly to his target.
So, in truth, we know nothing about Dragoon's sense of direction. Chances are it's pretty good. But even if it is bad, no one in existence can come close to Black Belt.

In all fairness, Thief did warn muffin that monsters who far outclass the light warriors seem to die somehow. Muffin laughed at him (basically) and so we see the results. The Light Warriors are guided by the prince of plot himself... the web artist XD

God dammit. Brian missed the Saturday update so, chances are, we have to wait until Tuesday because it's unheard of for someone to update out of schedule to correct a pre-existing schedule conflict.
Oh well, 1 comic in 5 days isn't too bad, right? Right?
