Ryu's been in all of em?! *whapself* Show's how much I've been paying attention.

Could just be that his costume's a bit more recognizeable to me now, having utterly ravaged NG.

That's probably because the Ryu in Ninja Gaiden is somewhat different from the Ryu in DoA. For example, the way Ryu fights in Gaiden is different from the way he fights in DoA, usually due to the fact that he's fighting a single opponent and doesn't use weapons in DoA, and he takes on multiple targets and does use weapons in Gaiden. Ryu also uses the environment more to his advantage in Gaiden.

At any rate, DoA with fan service is fine just the way it is. I could enjoy the game just as much if the characters were replaced by ugly old men (Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach "Gen Fu's Drinking Buddies" Volleyball) but it just wouldn't feel the same.

It's shameless. Absolutely shameless. They took two ridiculous concepts for selling - "X-TREEEEEEEME MARKETING" and tits - and put them together in a game. The world collectively laughed, but after the G4 Game Vixen contest we're all on edge, and a little sick of this "Look! tits!" thrown at gamers just because most of the market targeting is at adolescence and college students, a pair of groupings that combines inability to 'get some' and a very healthy ability to 'get some'.

We're just all a little exasperated. And besides, alot of us DID get DOA:XBV, I totally hated it (reasons vary) but you can't say that DOA the fighting game, without bikinis, is all tits.

My take on the whole tits in games thing is if I'm gonna be staring at somebody for hours on end, it might as well be a chick. Call me a horny bastard, call me a perv, but I'd rather stare at a chick's body for extended lengths of time.
