I had to add my own little comment here. Okay, if someone would get into the game that much... I doubt it was D&D's fault, I mean, that person has got to honostly have some problems before hand.

And how often does a game get THAT serious? I've played a fair share of my D&D games and I have never seen it be really serious. They look rather somber to be playing D&D. I mean, when I play D&D, it's hard to talk over my friends to keep the game going. And when we do play the game, nobody takes anything seriously. I mean, my character died from doing something really stupid, I didn't cry and get shunned by my friends because "I don't exist anymore".

And burn your occult paraphernalia?
Like rock music? Okay, so now, not only will D&D lead me straight down the path of destruction, but somehow listening to certain music will cause me to join the occult? Excuse me, but I haven't heard a song yet that has moved me to want to sell my soul to satan.

And why are a bunch of parents seemingly at this meeting. It doesn't look like anything he's talking about would really be something they're having problems with.

And that's a hell of a lot of D&D stuff, charms, and rock music CDs to make a bonfire that big. So... burning figurines, blank boards, character sheets, CDs, charms, etc, is going to save them how?

Man... I really wanna e-mail this loser that wrote the article and this comic... >_< They are the ones who need to reflect.
*shakes head* I mean, I'm a Christian too, but I honostly don't see how this stuff is directly linked to satan.

"Yo God, it's Kevin. Yeah I was reading some stuff the other day by a baptist zealot. Same problem as usual. It's these nuts that make it hard to profess my faith. Everytime I have to deal with one of them I begin to question your judgement. I mean come on dude. You on your own are cool. I'm down with you. But some of your followers need to take their head out of their asses. Keep up the good work."

These zealots really are an embarassment to average, everyday Christians. Anyone can take anything out of context and warp it into what they want it to say, but that doesn't make it true. I consider myself a Christian, but with these lunatics running around, accusing everyone of being doomed unless they subscribe to their specific view of what God meant in the bible, and accusing everyone else with an opinion of trying to lead Christians to satanism, it really just makes me angry at them.

On a humerous note, a Captain SNES comic gives its opinion on Jack T. Chick...

I thik that we should ignore all these zealots. Because, after all, trying to convince a fanatic of something that is not directly in his belief structure is like trying to force-feed someone a plum pudding...
...through a mountain range.

Um, Mormons are survivalists. If they think your threatening their kids then they'll shoot your ass and say a prayer of forgiveness
really? i have yet to see this, seeing how i'm LDS (aka- mormon), play d&d, M:TG, and listen to metal...

but i can see your point. a few years ago, my parents took the family on a "vacation" to utah. even though i was one of the majority there, missionaries were constantly approaching me and asking if i accepted christ as my savior. my gosh it makes me angry to see zealots of any religion (including you too Chick) spreading propoganda.

i need the hard stuff to calm my nerves. *reaches for the diet, caffine free pepsi*

I like how he had that list of all those killers and kids who killed who all played D&D. I bet all those people ate food too, and breathed.
