ooc-I have no problems with short post, it's just easier to work off others on how they posts, how they react.

Naruto gave it some thought, watching closely at how each person spoke. After a moment of consideration, he sighed. "I guess I'll trust you guys...

"The problem is though...if what you say is true, and you just popped up like here I did...then we have no clue where we are or what to do..."

Naruto shrugged. "Oh well, I'm sure we can deal with anything! Especially with me, I'm Naruto, the best genin of Konohagakure!"

She sweatdropped slightly, rolling her eyes at Naruto. Why does that attitude seem familiar..? Right.. InuYasha just about as arrogant all the time.

"I'm sure you're excellent at being genin, but let's just work with what we know right now. Each of us have come from different places, obviously a few of us from different times." She folded her arms over her chest. "Perhaps someone needs our assistance with something?"

Naruto stared at Sango for a minute, speechless. Then he jumped up and snapped his fingers. "Of course, that's how it always works in the mangas! Heros always get sent to places in need."

He nodded assuringly to himself. "Yup, that definately explains why I'm here," he said. "I'm destined to be the next Hokage afterall."

Then he paused, taking a quick glance at the others. "So...what are you guys doing here?"

Utena shrugged, "I honostly don't know where I'm from, I could even be from this time and place for all I know..." She twisted the rose signat ring around on her finger, "But from what my dull memories tell me, this isn't home." She paced around a little bit, thoughtfully, "Well, our best best would probably be to find out where this is, and if anything is wrong here, we can fix it."

They were in the middle of the woods, Yoko, Rushe and Larz. Yoko was a slim young girl of fifteen, with flaming red hair and an equaly fiery temper. However, around her charge Rushe, she was more of a kindly older sister than an ogre.

Rushe, a smaller boy of fourteen, certainly didn't look that way. He acted like a child of a few years younger - naive, trusting and innocent.

He was followed closely by a chibi blue dragon, Larz, who was almost as large as Rushe. Nobody knew much about Larz, though. He could fly and pantomime, suggesting intelligence, but he had never spoken before.

At least, not within the hearing of any being except Rushe.

"Rushe-kun! Don't run too far!" the little dragon was saying. "Yoko will skin me alive if you get lost."

Rushe smiled and turned back. "But my shirt's dirty! I have to wash it."

He scampered on again, towards the nearby river. This was a habit of his - Rushe always liked to keep clean, no matter where he went. While sometimes annoying, it was quite helpful to have a kid who automatically did the laundry... though somewhat embarassing if he also automaticallly washed your unmentionables for you...

"Dammit! Slow down will you! I'm no stunt flier here!" Larz was panting as he dodged around trees, trying to follow his elusive companion. But Rushe was already out of earshot. He came to the river's edge, and looked at his own reflection. It seemed unusuallu smooth this day...

... and then a ripple broke it up. But this was odd... the ripple came from the center of Rushe's image. As the young boy sat there puzzled, more and more ripples appeared, spreading otuwards continuously.

"Nani- kyaaaa!"

By the time Larz got there, there was nothing left save Rushe's slightly dirtied overcoat, which he had been holding in his hand.

"Shit!" he panted while trying to catch his breath. "Where the heck is he?"

Larz flew around, looking for Rshe, but to no avail. Suddenly, images of light blue leather goods started dancing around in his head.

Oh man... Yoko's going to kill me...

Meanwhile, in a galaxy far, far away, Rushe materialized in mid-air and landed roughly on the ground, and he rolled into a wall.

"Itaaaai!" he whined, rubbing his bruised hand. Then his curiosity took away the pain, because he was in a place of many towers, just lke Metallicana, but bigger.

Just like the ruins of the Old World...

"Kore wa doko?" he said to nobody in particular as he toddled down through the streets. He turned a corner and came across a strange group of people - a young pink-haired girl, a big scary girl with a big boomerang on her back, a black-haired lady in fancy clothes carrying a long hammer, a small orange kid with yellow hair, another scary lady with a strange rod and finally, a young black-haired man with a strange black box in his hands.

"Ko...kowaiii..." All of them looked scary, like the gangsters and bullies that had often plagued him back in Metallicana. It was only the intervention of Yoko that kept them from hurting him, but where was she now?

Summoning up all his courage, Rushe toddled towards the pink lady. She didn't seem that scary, and besides, girls with unusual hair colors tended to be nicer to him than others.

"Onee-san, onee-san, Yoko-san wa doko?" Rushe pulled on Utena's skirt to get her attention while unintentionally giving her chibi eyes.

Utena glanced down at the person who was pulling at the edge of her uniform. It was a small boy. He looked to be in his teens, but the meek look on his face made him look younger, "Hey..." She said, kneeling down, since she was taller than the boy, "What's wrong? You've been stranded here too haven't you?" She asked gently.
Although her strong independant demenor, Utena seemed to have a soft spot for people who were afraid or seemed like they couldn't protect themselves. "I'm sorry, but I don't know where we are, or where this Yoko-san is. My name is Utena Tenjou," She said, extending a hand out to the boy, "What's your name?"

(OOC: He did ask 'where is Yoko-san', right? (put my japanese to the test. ^^;; hehe )

Maybe this big sister isn't so bad after all...

"Boku? Boku wa Rushe, Rushe Ren Ren. Minna dare?"

(Okay, that just about exhausts my limited command of Japanese, I'll have him speak normally from now on.)

"These people are alright too." She motioned to each of them in turn, "This is Naruto, Kaneda, Sango..." She glanced around, "Skuld was here a second ago, but she ran off... hopefully she'll be back." She believed that was everyone, or at least that was everyone she knew. "Do you know how you got here, Rushe?" She asked Rushe.

(OOC: yay. I'm rather pleased with being able to understand the japanese. ^^;; (that is, if I did actually understand it correctly. I guess learning a little Japanese has paid off.

Rushe held up his bruised hand for Utena to see.

Utena took Rushe's bruised hand gently, looking at it. "It doesn't hurt too bad, does it? If it does, we could find some ice to put on it..."
After a second, Utena turned to the rest of the group, "We should head to a bar or a hotel... We would probably be able to find something out about our surroundings there." Her eyes scanned their surroundings, looking for someplace to start.

(OOC: it's weird to say "hotel" instead of "inn" but Utenas from the more modern day, so a hotel would probably be more normal for her to say. ^^;; hehe)
