That's understandable, and thanks for being polite, but as far as we're concerned the 'absolutely horrible' so distantly outran the 'mediocre' which was so much greater in quantity than the 'good' the amount of which was a far cry from the 'best' that we got fed up with it all. There's something to be said for creativity, there's also something to be said for a 99:1 ratio. We can live without the 1.
Sorry if our rules are stifling, but he also has a right to impose rules based on what he feels regarding his own creation. Be glad we have these more controlling rules, the messageboard 4 years ago was a hell no man should ever be subjected to.

It doesn't sound weird. I actually agree with you. However, the only creativity I think should be protected is the not-stupid sort. I think we're getting into a grey area when we try to defend these little smilie skits, in that if you eliminate them altogether you may lose some "valuable input", but most of it is just fluff.
[Edit] Yeah, what shiney said. =3

Just noticed this thread, and I can agree with most of the new rule... Although, I do think its a bit much to extend it to Signatures. I mean, most of the time my eyes just slip over that bit of a post, and think about the kind of work you Mods will be in for, warning off each & every poster who just happens to have a crappy sig.
Oh, and I hope my sig doesn't count, does it? SWK

The sig thing I am not going to be a stickler about because I'm lazy, but for those who read this thread, take the skit out of your sig because odds are it sucks.
KC your sig isn't classed as 'retarded'.

Clearly, you haven't read the inviso-text.
Still I'm glad to know I can keep my sig, as I spent at least 30 minutes coming up with that one... (And less than 1 to come up with the actual text.) SWK

I wonder what happens to someone who [A] makes a new comic thread when a comic is released while [B] using those little guys to do a recap and [C] during it one of them asks if Black Belt is coming back and then another ones gives [D] an advertisement [E] for a copy of 8-bit theater on the poster's own website and they have [F] a signature that says
