That's so PC of you

You see... the problem is that if we allow you lefties to have link, soon you will want Gordon freeman or master chief... then, those damn color blinded people will want equality too, and if we give on that, society as we know will cease to exist! So Nay i Say!
Also, i must say that with all the Wiimotes flying around, i have concerns about the Lightgun acessory... |

What's funnier is when older games on the Super (Not sure about Link or not) usually had the whole "side switch" problem, where whenever you turned around their whole character suddenly became right/left hand at the drop of a dime. Especially in a game like Street Fighter, where their lead hand was always the one towards the background.

In Zelda, if he was facing you he was left handed. If he was facing away from you he was left handed. However, he always had his shield facing north from the side. They rationalized this in the LttP strategy guide, however, as 'even though Link is left handed, it is Hyrulian superstition to always keep your shield toward death mountain.' Or something like that.

From Controls to Link to lefties!
You know, nothing is stopping lefties from putting the mouse on the dominant side. In fact, due to the keyboard layout and <insert at least two HCI theories/rules here that I don't want to bother boring you with>, you'd be at an advantage that way.
Honestly, it's just a bluetooth remote. I really wouldn't be put off by making a few movements with my right wrist only to have Link swing from his left hand. It's not that difficult to understand. Nintendo, you fiends! Also, related to various controller incidents, it seems Nintendo is not just giving silly safety tips but also looking into providing a thicker wrist cord. I am told that the current one is the second-thinnest possible.

Wait, why are we talking about link instead of the Wii controler?

Well I got my Wii about 2 and a half days ago, hence me being absent from the forums, and in that time have managed to rack up 28 hours Zelda playtime and 4 hours of Wii sports. And I feel fine, no problems.
Anyway I miss lefty Link, they didn't really need to change it, but other than that I have no problems with TP's controls, combat is awesome, the Wiimote rocks for aiming and I like fishing, especially lure fishing(reeling is, well sweet). In Wii Sports I like bowling and golf. Baseball is okay but tennis and boxing piss me off. Oh and I use the Wii left handed, it's nice to have a system with that option, not that it matters now, videogames have long since made me ambidextrous. Also what's the problems with batteries? I've only had to change them once. Oh and I'm picking up Wii Play later in the week with a free controller.
