Plus, when playing a Space Marines army, you can bluff your way into some moral advantages too. =P
But seriously, eventually, wouldn't that start to look oddly? Especially when you're NOT playing against Space Marines. Having said those words of logic, that conversion looks beyond awesome, and if I had the money and patience, I'd attempt something like it. Damn. EDIT: Damn I forgot a word. Quite a keyword. Such an idiot.

THats the thing. If you just paint it, it looks good, but your army will really start to look amazing when you customize your units. I myself am attempting to give my Necrons a more armored look, using SM shoulderpads and other such pieces.

So here's the Broodlord. I'm still working on him, but his paint coats are finished. I'll be doing touch-ups soon.
This is the original Broodie. I decided that the spindly little mutated Scything Talons were lame. So I fixed him. Taking a pair of Warrior arms and a lot of putty, you have this. I'm very happy with him. He really earned "Inhuman Strength" ability with this conversion. He really looks like he could rip someone in half. I'm tempted to get a few Space Marines and put two halves in his bigger hands. EDIT: Those pictures sucked, so I took some with the flash on.
