"Ahh the Crab sent the usual functionaries." Daijoku remarked as the Crab Clan emissaries arrived.

"The Crab's have an important task Daijoku-sama." Raiden said in their defence.

"Many seek peace, but not many are ready to kill for it, even if only themselves." Mitsuko said and then moved to sit in a corner.

The two dragons looked at the monk as she left.

"You are right" Daijoku said to Raiden. "I could make a good magistrate out of you, Raiden-san."

Hakuyo sidled into the grand hall through a side entrance, more by force of habit than anything else. He looked around, and was somewhat surprised byt he dizzying array of colors that revealed itself. All around him were reds and yellows and greens and golds. Emissaries from every clan must have been present, and his eyebrows raised themselves as he noted Daimyo Yasuki.

Interesting. That they could spare their damiyo... but of course. Only the Champion need lead his men in battle.

Then he saw Izumi, wending her way through the crowds. He nodded at her, then moved on. He had to find a place to watch the proceedings from.

Bayushi Dozan moved toward Raiden. "You must be Mirumoto Raiden." Dozan is a very beautiful man with an air of darness. He wore a simple silk mask across his face.

"Hai Bayushi-sama." Raiden said "It is a pleasure to meet you." Raiden bowed.

"How is your father." Dozan said. His voice had a smugness to it. The smugness of somebody who probably knew the answer better than Raiden.

"He is well Bayushi-sama." Raiden said.

"I will be sure to talk with you further, I see that Shiba Toku has arrived. I wish to speak to him."

Raiden moved out of his way with a bow. Already he knew why Dozan had his reputation for being personable. He also knew that it was unwise to trust the Father of Lies. His eyes followed the famous Scorpion courtier. He then made Eye contact with a pretty young Soshi. He broke his eye contact and turned to look at Daijoku- sama engaged in a debate over legal practices with the Emerald Champion and Daimyo of the Crane, Doji Mifune.

Izumi noted the young dignitary who nodded at her, obviously a Scorpion in desguide. She was smart enough to realize that the Daimyo had been sending them out for the past few months. She then surveyed the room and made eye contact with a young Dragon, from the Mirumoto family by the look of his mon. He was the one who had defeated Satsume. It might be wise to form an alliance with him. She sultrily walked up to him and pretended to trip into him. "Oh! I'm sorry Mirumoto-san, how clumsy of me."

"Soshi-san." Raiden said to acknowledge the scorpion. "Do you need anything?"

Raiden was aware something was going to happen, something he didn't intend. He however couldn't see the harm in talking with this beautiful scorpion. He still kept his gaurd up.

"The fault is with me. Satsume-san is agrieved at me for killing his brother in a legal duel." Mirumoto told the girl. He didn't know why he felt so forthcoming. He stopped himself before he said to much.

As soon as Asukane and the Crab enclave had entered, the Enclave had split-up among the emissaries of the separate clans. Asukane, not being much of a diplomat, stood off to the side. As he was watching a Scorpion female that looked like she was trying to seduce a Dragon, Jansa materialized in front of him and cut off his mask.
"Jansa, give me back my mask!" Asukane covered his face as the entire room turned to look at them.
"Why should I you freak?"
"Just go away, and give me my mask."
"Why shouldn't I just finish what I started right now?"
"You wouldn't. You enjoy tormenting me."
"Well, I could just burn the rest of your skin...." The threat hung in the air until the mask fell to the floor and Jansa faded away. The mask now had another crack down it, going through the eye-hole. As Asukane bent to pick it up, he noticed that the entire courtyard had turned to watch the affair.
"I am sorry for the disturbance, one of my....ancestors does not like me very much."
Asukane tied the mask back on, sat down and cradled his head in his hands.

Edit: OOC: Well, I don't know, if he is I'll just change the name to whatever he decides, but he hasn't been on the OOC thread in a while.

Yoshi watched the haunted guy bend over to pick up his mask. He could sympathize with the Crab, seeing as he had an ancestor that annoyed him every month.

Hantei resisted the urge to complain as her hair was adjusted for the final time, one of her servants pulling a lock of hair to tighten it. While passing a mirror, Hantei glanced into it, to check her appearance, her hair was up in a fancy style, it had taken the servants a long time to perfect it, and her finely colored Kimono's gold trim sparkled in the light.

"Alright, I suppose it is time to see my guests..."

(OOC: I'm waiting for JAD to take care of her entering, since I'm not sure if he has something planned)
