Re-watched the 1st episode in preparation. Man I can't wait to see the dub.
I really like how the series doesn't just "forget" Isaac after the first episode. They flashback to all the foreshadowing he did, like thirty-odd episodes later. |

Well. I don't "Hate" the new Al, but I don't "Love" him either, he's, passable. everybody else is the same so it does'nt really matter.
Also "Let's see your water Quench my fist!" I don't recall the sub translation being as awesome, was it?

First ep was ****ing amazing! I can't believe I didn't bother to watch this anime sooner. Also I love the ending theme.
Can't stop listening to it.

I can honestly say, that the way the early parts were handed really turned me off to this when it was in subs.
I get ther reasoning behind it, I just don't like it.

Still rushes thing, but it's less bad about it.
Yeah, best way to enjoy Brotherhood is to watch the first ep then watch until they get to the warehouse with the hollow armors in the original show the go back to Brotherhood from that point on.

So we are clear

friend of mine said the begining was horrible, but it generally got better as it moved on.
Doesn't suprise me, they had to go over things that we all knew years ago. Alot of the early suprises are completely lost like Al not having a body, ect. Though its nessicary, not everyone watching this will have seen the original. I think tossing out Armstrong, Kimbley, and Bradly so early was a poor choice.

Ed voiced by a man was a change, anyway. Brought back watching the original show's dub and all that. Didn't they change Roy's VA too, as well as Al's?

My brother insisted that Roy's VA got changed, but I'm pretty sure it's still Travis Willingham (Though he did seem to be doing the voice... differently, I guess is the word).
A quick check through Google confirmed it for me. |

So, the next episode has the human transmutation incident and The Truth. Should be fun to see how The Truth is voiced. (outside of that one line in the trailer, of course.)
