Isaac laughed off the comment about him having to worry about the ice Pokemon “Don’t worry about me facing the ice pokemon, I am as solid as a rock” (AKA the ability solid rock which means damage by super-effective moves is halved.) With that he stopped talking, facing the fire team would be no problem. But then someone had to start talking and that someone was Impact, ruining the whole back alley thing. This visibly upset Isaac even though he could see the man was right, but who died made him the leader of the group. “Listen I think we are making this to complicated then it needs to be, splitting up into three groups is a great idea and what you suggested would work just fine but I agree with what Renny just said. Plus who’s to say I can’t come in through the back door to help you guys once I am done with the Fire team. Do you really want some wild card like that out there.”
Then Impact talked some more but Isaac didn’t really pay attention to what he was saying. “Sending me through the back alley wouldn’t be splitting up the team all too much. Plus the important thing here is getting the Evil Eevee 8, leaving the guy in the back alley alone could give him a chance to escape" |

Renny nodded as Impact listed the various complications and factors. It was simple but it was effective.
"If it was just fire pokemon, I would completely agree with you. I really would. I'm just hestitant because the back alley is not just that. One of the hired help is a ghost type, which have considerable abilities and talents. Our pokemons have to be organized so precisely because we have little to no freedom in choosing their weaknesss and only some of their abilities. It's part of our responsiblity to take in account their weaknesses as well as their strengths. You as a slayer have lots of potential in choosing what situations you can and should deal with based on your equipment, while the rest of us have little choice but to choose our battles specifically according to how they match up with our pokemon. Work with us, we'll provide you with the cover you need." Renny affectionately clasped Impact on the arm in a reassuring act. "Once the back is secured, we'd be able to support the digging team even more so coming from the back toward receptional, plus we'd be able to secure an additional way out for hostages or ambush any unknown accomplices." Renny then turned to Rayleen who had been oddly quiet the entire time. "Are there any surrounding facilities or features which might be of notice, especially among fire types including explosives or highly combustive equipment?" Just more evidence of corruption... The thought flashed through his head, before he could banish it. He didn't want to think about this now, he couldn't devote his mind to anger just yet, but it was true. Here they were, banding together against him, against common sense. So self-assured. But he was weary of discussion. "Yes! Very well! Let us split into as many groups as we like, attack them from every front instead of focussing our forces. Perhaps we'll even win." He sighed. "At least let my team go first, so you guys have the element of surprise." He glanced at Isaac. "And when you've finished fighting the fire trainer you're so anxious to grind into ashes, perhaps hurry into the reception area. If one of them manages to hole themselves up in the vault we'll need all the strength we can get if we want to get at them before they do something stupid."

Your missing the main objective Renny. Our primary objective is to secure the egg safe and sound. Then come the hostages. Then the Evil Eevee eight which would be reduced by six at least given our current plan. Our most assured way of accomplishing one or two is Impact's plan
I volunteer myself for the front as well. He again fell silent. He wasn't too happy with Impact being the leader but at least the man was decisive and had some knowledge of tactics. He maybe harsh but at least he was effective when push came to shove. And that's what they were here for. His wings were twitching slightly impatiently starting to create and small layer of dust on the floor around him. Waiting was all well and good but it was difficult when there was work to be done. "Yes... Yes... WAIT! Kayleen! Where is the vault in respect to the fire type user? It's entirely possible that a fire type pokemon might try to melt through metal walls as per their superior strength against steel and thus bypass the hallways when escaping or otherwise act as a second entrance to the egg, with the rest being bait! They might be trying to get at the egg from two different directions!"

"Enough talking!" Charlotte shouted, losing her patience and glaring straight at Renny, who was causing much time to be wasted. "It doesn't matter how they are trying to get in the vault as long as we get there and stop them!"
She briefly paused to collect herself and calm down. "We will go with Impact's plan, one group at the front, one uderground to provide support and one taking the rooftops. The one at the back makes little difference, we can let him slide as long as our ultimate goal is accomplished." She then turned to Impact briefly, "like I said earlier, I'll go to the front with you, the other Slayer can take the tunnels. The bug boy can come with us to, and the others can do whatever they please." "And don't worry, I can be very competent," she said, looking strait at Impact. Although Charlotte said that last bit calmly, she was secretly pretty pissed off at his suggestion that she couldn't handle the fight. If he insults her or her pokemon again, then he will be in quite a bit of trouble, needless to say. "Now lets get going, enough time has been wasted." |

"The extraction van will have all the equipment you need. Behold."
Rayleen presented something that looked suspiciously like the scouters from Dragonball Z. "These are top of the line and a pretty penny for each. Constant contact provided there's no serious magnetic fields like certain electric Pokémon, a scanner that will tell you what gender a Pokémon is as well as its moves and ability, and even a 3-D GPS device that will keep you all abreast of where everyone else is. Each of these will no doubt help immensely when considering your tactics at any given time. We should hope they'll soon be upgraded with a short-range camcorder and night vision soon, but that's still in R&D right now." Rachel jotted down what Renny was requesting. "Let's see...two Leftovers, three Chesto Berries, I suppose six Snag Balls...will that complete your orders, everyone? Feel free to ask for more. It doesn't seem like anyone else needs me to hold items they'll need later. Additionally-" Rachel paused, addressing everyone else. "You should know that you can store three items, and if you need more nearby, just make your Pokémon hold 'em for you. Additionally, you can retrieve items that you give to the enemy so long as you defeat it." Rayleen nodded. "Slayers can hold six items, which will make them helpful to the trainers and snagger. And, even though this isn't really important I think it bears mentioning that Slayers and Pokébrids can be affected by items the same way that Pokémon are, and that's great because it means that items won't have to be so carefully decided on since anyone can use them. However, Slayers can't hold items like Pokébrids and Pokémon can. Pay careful attention to these little bits of information." "As for the area surrounding the bank, there's little in the ways of advantageous hazards. The bank isn't in the best of neighborhoods, but there's plenty of maneuverability inside and outside the bank. Another thing that I'd like to make you all aware of are attacks that hit groups. When a battle's engaged, only the units in the battle can be affected by group attacks. Don't worry about endangering the civilians, and if your attacks are actually starting to affect the immediate environment, these scanners will give you a warning. These could be good or bad, but pay attention to them regardless. It's impossible to get into the vault without going through its massive swinging door, and I'm certain Darcen is right in front of it." Rayleen pounded her chest confidently. "I should be able to move from combat to combat well. I'm really, really fast! I mean, I'm a Pikachu Pokébrid! Agility? Double Team? Quick Attack? I'll be running circles round those jerkasses. Either way, you're the real experts here, so you should able to decide where you belong in this siege by using the knowledge of your enemies." "If you're all set on how you want to proceed, the van is ready to take you to the bank. Your driver is Dormond, an Mawile Pokébrid. Don't be too alarmed by that giant mouth thing stemming from the back of his head. He tries really hard not to call attention to it." |

Renny smiled jovially as Rachel recited her list and volunteered some welcome advice.
"So I can hold 3 items myself? Sounds incredibly useful. In that case, I'll take one of those Chesto berries now and a full revive and a Full Restore in that case to hold onto. That'll free up some room for you to restock up to full. Thank you kindly! I imagine that the other agents including the pokebrids might request leftovers as well, given how we might get drained quickly from so many targets." He then turned to Rayleen. "Is there a way to tune my scouter to a certain frequency? One of my pokemons happen to be a giant electrical magnet pokemon, and I don't want to screw it up or my team-mate's scouters for that matter." |

Impact stood, relieved that the discussion was over, momentarily ignoring Renny's questions. "Allllrighty, then. Ladies, gentlemen and pokemon" (he spoke the word only with slight hesitation, barely noticable), "let's get this show on the road. Charlotte and Matt" he glanced at the two, trying to ignore the latter's wings "you take the front with me. Renny, you take the roof, along with... perhaps Pierce?" he turned to the trainer. "You volunteered to go and attack the front, with us, but I'm guessing you'd be just as useful up on top, particularly against the ice trainer. Once we attack the front, you and Renny can fly up from whatever direction you want and interfere with their sniping. Princess... provides mobile support, that's good. Take out any fliers you see hovering. The rest of our team can make up our actual assault force, you'll do the tunneling, secure the reception area, breach the vault and secure the egg. I'm certain there'll be plenty of fighting for all of us." He turned to Isaac. "I don't particularly care what you do, go around back and engage the fire trainer or support the digging team. Whatever you want." He snatched up a Scouter, fumbled with it for a moment, switched it on and put it on. "I'm aware I'm bossing you around" And why shouldn't I... "But we need to start this operation and if there's anyone who really, really wants to fight in another role, we can discuss that in the van, as well as picking all of our equipment and kit. Let's move." He turned to head towards the door.

Charlotte flipped her scouter around casually in her hands. She didn't believe she would actually need it. Her personal philosophy was that no amount of tactics even matter compared to power. Nevertheless, she put it on anyways to satisfy the others, she wouls probably remove it later.
With that, she casually walked up and exited the door after Impact. 'He can play leader all he wants,' she figured, 'it doesn't matter to me, as long as I get the kill.' |
