Really? I was imagining that he'd throw some... AHEM... modifications into his RPDA.
Makes more sense than him suddenly deciding not to hate pokemon, anyway. EDIT: To elaborate on Anti-cheater, making it change types to reduce the damage from any attacks to 1x fits in perfectly. Then it can serve as the inspiration for Sophie's suit. You know, the one that's every piece of Slayer armor combined. It'd be her attempt to duplicate Anti-cheater's properties (albeit, with actual resistances, you know, 1/2x damage, instead of 1x damage like Anti-cheater), and it wouldn't be a perfect attempt.

Oh, I didn't mean that Impact would adopt one of these arm-sex pokemons. I just imagined the species in general...
Although if their existance would be made known, he'll surely take it as a personal affront or something. |

I find myself suddenly tempted to make a Hectopus pokemon.

AB: Since we have the ability to multi-class now, this is bound to come up. How will you have trainer/snaggers who are pokebrid/slayer/demon operate?
Like say, if we had Pierce become a Slayer for his next upgrade for some reason. He'll have 2 pokemons and he'll have the ability to fight like a Slayer. Would he be able to attack alongside all his pokemons in the same manner as Shock Troopers? Or do one pokemon have to forfeit their action for him to act or something like that? Hoping that it'll be like Shock Troopers and slayers/pokebrids/demons can act while their pokemons act too. Last edited by Menarker; 06-29-2010 at 12:33 PM. |

Put it in orange, because this next thing I'm going to say is going to suck out the seriousness:
Furthermore, how will Pokebrid-Slayer-Trainer-Snagger-Demon PCs work? How would a Snagger/Trainer function? Will they have six pokemon? Four pokemon, plus Snags? And what the hell would a Slayer/Pokebrid do if their form doesn't really allow them to wield weapons or armor (protuberances, lack of hands, etc.)?

AB: All the normal Slayer type armors protect against a certain type of debuff or status condition or attack quality (like OHKO or Crit). But what about Ruin armor? It protects from ruin type moves, but I don't see a similar protection that goes with it. (This might also come into play for Devas who get access to ruin forms and the ability to assume the status resistance of that element)
Also, in regards to Overdrives's immunity to a certain pokemon element type at level 3 and 5. I understand that at level 3, there is a limit to what can be chosen due to some of the other elements being more valuable to resist. Can we assume however that at level 5, the Overdrive can also choose from any of the elements listed at level 3? (Technically giving access to choose any element except for Almighty and the one they already chosen.) Also, does this immunity to types also protect against status moves of that type? Electric type Thunder Wave or Normal type Sing or Ghost type Confuse Ray? EDIT: In regards to the new characters we'll be making, how many levels of a class other than demon do we need to be accepted? (To prevent people trying to make 5 levels of demon before it is even accessible, or going 1 level of whatever class and stacking heavily on demon so they get super powerful when it comes out.) Presumably, 4 is acceptable, because that's where everyone is right now, and we're allowed to stock up on demonhood at this point (even though it doesn't take effect yet.) EDIT: Since we currently have Slayers and Pokebrids getting 10 rage when attacking and such, does that mean that Lvl 1 Overblades will get 15 rage and Lvl 5 Overblades will get 20. For each attack? (They get to attack twice at Lvl 3.) I'm not saying I have a problem with it. Just wanted to clarify. EDIT: Damn, that server breakdown was a pain in the ass. Also, can explain Overdrives (The one that comes attached to the Powersuit) in more details? Also, rage tanks seem to be missing from the list of accessories. Accidental? As much as I appreciate the help Menarker I feel I should make it known that poison types aren't actually immune to poison moves. They get a resistance but not immunity. The only type with immunity to poison I believe is Steel.
Oh and Gem I wasn't offended or anything. I just didn't want to keep posting it so I gave you an incentive to reply. |

I meant the poison status.
To wit! Quote:
However! Poison pokemons are already immune to being poisoned (says so in Bulbapedia), even though they aren't immune to damage from poison attacks like acid. However, if you went further into Devas, that particular bonus would have been wasted on you whenever you shift into Venomoth. So you would only get evasion debuff immunity despite Venomoth having two types. EDIT: However, I just noticed that this bonus shifts from form to form, so it's not like you have to choose a form to get that bonus and stick with it. So that's goodish. ^^ AB: What status immunity would a pokebrid using Normal pokemon form have, like Matthias's Porygon Z? I also asked about Ruin pokemons but noticed that Normal types don't have a bonus attached to it because the bonus was "Always applied" which is a Slayer unique trait. Actually currently that particular ability is really odd with me. Given my ability to element shift in two of my forms.

... Yeah, that is crazy. God, if you were a Kecleon, AB would be shuddering about how often your element and your bonus would change for each and every attack that hit you.
