Oh my god, I just realized I have a 56 year old uncle named Edward.

On another note...I kinda wanted to name my first born something cool. If it was a daughter, I'd of named her Raven (to keep with the bird name theme), Aradia (Witch Queen's name), River (Firefly/Serenity), Liriel (Forgotten Realms Starlight and Shadows Trilogy).

However it was a son and my now ex named him Patrick (Patrick Swayze) Nicholas (Her youngest deceased brother). Not my first choice and she left no room for discussion.

To be fair, the most creative MGS gets with it's names are John, Jack, David, and Hal so even if someone did name you after a MGS character you'd never know.

In other news: I'm not sure if I should be upset that "Renesmee" made it into the Babynames database before my name did :T

My dad's name is David, obviously inspired by MS paint adventures Dave via psychic visions of the internet future. Though he's not as badass as Dave.

But this child-naming thing isn't a problem unless the parents won't shut up about how they named their kids after twilight characters and show them off to try to impress other parents.

It's like my view about the whole Team Edward/Jacob thingamajig (I don't keep much track, but I'm stuck between rudeness and trespassing charges if someone tries to confront me about that fad), just don't make a big deal about it and leave them be.

EDIT: The Seil tag works very well for this forum, an EvilEarl tag would be pointless and often out of date due to how I'm inconsistently consistently inconsistent.

Well lets just say Edward is justified in that it could also be a Fullmetal Alchimist referrance and thus completely redeeming the name for all time

Oh man those parents are going to resent their kids so hard when they grow up a bit and realize how hard Twilight sucks, and the kids will be there as a constant reminder of how they thought it was so cool they named their kids after it.
