Archer and Armstrong vs. the World

Doesn't making 12 webisodes that add up to the length of a full-length film and provides all the exposition the film probably should have...a better idea than a confusing film with no exposition? It's an odd strategy. These webisodes are going to have a fraction of a fraction of the amount of viewership an actual film in theaters would have.

I think it's making people want to see the movie more, actually.
You can look and see the webisodes and not have it distract from the movie. If the second MK movie taught us anything, there's a LOT of characters that need us to feel for them as they fight. |

ahaha this is awful
- "hey boss this is a weapon that shoots obvious foreshadowing" - "I KNOW WHAT IT IS" - just imagine, without Mortal Kombat we might never have seen a situation so original as a cop in danger and another cop who goes against protocol - minute-long recap at the start of the 9 minute second episode that only manages to highlight how padded with immemorable dialogue and Zack Snyder-slow motion the first one was credit where credit is due I do want to watch more cause dammit if I see a rabbit hole I want to know just how deep that shit goes |

That entire producer talk they give Johnny in episode 3 seems like it could be applied rather well to the entire show, and I'm not sure if they're aware of that.

I think Cage is kind of assholish in this one. In the first one, yeah, egoist, but he's just punching everyone left and right here.

So I watched the latest episode. They took my complaints about it not really being mortal kombat and so decided to make some kind of terrible terrible picturebook? hahaha
Also why are the credits nearly as long as the episode? Surely one of those people should have said something. Last edited by Professor Smarmiarty; 05-13-2011 at 05:19 PM. |

It is an understandable thing when you have one dream, one marketable trait, that they lead you on trying to market anything to be worth a damn, probably spending most of the savings you have just to see that dream is crushed and trait ignored to cast some eye candy that probably punches like a gentle breeze.
His life is over, on the flipside movie Cage was still a success, you can imagine why one might be a little more bitter.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Part 1 - Sonya, Jax, Kano
Mortal Kombat: Legacy Part 2 - Sonya, Jax, Kano Mortal Kombat: Legacy Part 3 - Johnny Cage Mortal Kombat: Legacy Part 4 - Kitana, Mileena Mortal Kombat: Legacy Part 5 - Kitana, Mileena Mortal Kombat: Legacy Part 6 - Raiden A new challenger has arrived! There's a disclaimer... wat? EDIT So apparently Raiden spent some time being tortured and drugged in an mental institution to get rid of "the delusions" that he was the God of Thunder.
