I found a 6770 its open box but should still be good right?

Otherwise I think I'll go with this 6670

ok I finalized my build

windows 7 (I want advice on if I should use 32 or 64 bit version)
60gb SSD
1tb HDD
6 core amd processor
micro atx motherboard
micro atx tower
8 gigs of RAM
550w power supply
Radeon HD 6670 graphics card

Thanks to everyone that helped, went abit over budget since I got a graphics card and power supply, but I think in the long run its a far better build than if I did this on my own

This is correct and fairly important because you'll be wasting half of your RAM in 32-bit!

Not to mention support for 64-bit application is becoming more prevalent as of late. In short: when i doubt go 64bit OS. 64 is backwards compatible with 32 bit applications but not the other way around.

I ask cause I used 64-bit XP and it sucked. So few things would run on it. I believe the issue was microsoft didn't update the service packs well so there were compatibility issues. I just remember it screwing me over.

I've been using 64 bit OSes since Windows vista and, I had very few problems with very specific programs, mostly really REALLY old stuff. Nowadays, with Windows 7, I haven't had any issues. 64 bit XP was a niche product, unlike today's 64 Bit OSes so, you won't have to worry about updates and stuff either.

yeah, Aka pretty much nailed it on the head. XP-64 set the bar pretty dang low in terms of usefulness.

Been runnin Win7-Pro on this box for almost two years now with nary a burp.
