i usually never double wield melee in games like these, i prefer massive damage to speed damage so i just go for two handed stuff... but the axes are so sweet looking that i totally recommend the Frost Warframe. If i can't get Ash i'll be sure to go with Frost.

Oh, and fuck Moas, in case that wasn't clear. They have the weirdest hitboxes so they're almost invincible behind waist-high cover, the shockwave version literally juggles you and it's hard to notice being hit by a Railgun Moa in the middle of a large fight. And their AI is really weird so they psychically know where you are.

Well, it's in Beta, so if you don't like it, bring it up on the forums as something that can be fixed, the one perk of playing a beta. I do think they should implement some more stuff to allow for stealth, and probably tweak some of the enemy AI.
I have played ring around the boxes with a Grineer, and the game spawns more enemies to make up for the fact they're not intelligent enough to follow you proper.

While trying to get some crap from an alert in the very first mission you fight off Infected, I died a bunch of times due to general crazy things.
First time I tried doing it, after the very first wave of chargers and leapers, two ancient disruptors and a toxicancient showed up and I had nowhere to hide or any energy to try and radial javelin them. It was a death sentence. So I retry the mission. Go crazy careful, clear up everything always, stand on tall boxes so enemies can't get to me, shit like that. Suddenly, 20+ enemies swarm me from every side. I tried my best with slide dash and radial javelin, but there wasn't anything I could do to avoid getting killed twice. I get the atmospheric part of "nowhere is safe" but a sudden horde of enemies because I crossed some imaginary line is just ridiculous. |

Ancient Healer and Toxic Ancient are the only two things that can make a space super cyborg ninja flee from a room...

Yeah, part of it I think is that the game populates multiple "sections" in advance, and depending on how well they pass along how shit is fucked, you'll end up with an insurmountable section and then the next two areas in your path are inexplicably empty.

Thing is, things spawned from an area I had cleared completely, that's my issue. The game is significantly easier if enemies are all coming from the same way.

Also, little known fact: you can jump over shockwaves to avoid the knockback. It makes dealing with shockwave moas more manageable. Also, the "head" on moas is on the lower part of their "body." So aim for the nutshots and you'll get bonus damage. Quote:

Also, to those considering getting a blueprint for your next frame, there are two big things to consider. 1) The materials needed to craft all the parts you need. These materials, to be precise. The material costs will be the same regardless of what frame you pick. 2) What boss you will have to farm to get the blueprints for the parts you need. Here is the link to the Warframe Forum post that tells you where you can find everything. edit- Oh and, if you want to know where to find what materials, when you click on a planet there will be a box on the top right of your screen with three materials. Those are the materials that drop in that area. ---------- Post added at 10:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:29 PM ---------- Also, I just want to say that the game isn't really designed with soloing in mind. It's possible to do, even in later levels, but you have to play extremely cautiously and be sporting some hefty mods. As far as I know there is no scaling in the game, so flying solo is basically challenge mode. ---------- Post added at 10:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:34 PM ---------- Also also, I would recommend refraining from paying the exorbitant amount of platinum they are asking for new Frames. The game is still in beta, and DE has said this includes the pricing structure. There have been a lot of complaints about the platinum costs and I would not be surprised if they dropped them in the future. Good news is there will eventually be an optional complete reset available. This will refund any platinum you spent but also throw your account back to where it started.

I did sometimes get the gist that some missions were more like "Oh shit you've been found, you're a badass ninja, not a 1 man army, get in, do the job, and get out! ASAP" unless it's an extermination mission.

Yeah, the big aspect of it is having spread aggro, since you die quickly if everyone is shooting at you, opposed to half or a quarter of the enemy force. That and the lack of reviving (even in MP if it bugs) makes it a very different game tactically. I'm actually thinking of building my Excalibur warframe to be a brawler, focusing with movement, defense and melee power so I can quickly pick off enemies at close range, using terrain to my advantage (I already have most of what I need to make this work, though I am considering maybe building it on a Shade just so that I get the capacity for easier stealth).
