I'd have to say the Family Guy. Man, FOX was stupid not to see that show's hysterical potential. (Brian, in particular, was my favorite character because he often seemed like the only one with common sense in the bunch; I thought Stewie was hysterical, and the episode they share together, The Road to Rhode Island, is truly the greatest half-hour gem in all of television).

I'm gonna go with Felix the Cat on this one, I mean, he was the first cartoon on TV, EVER.
Besides, I just crack up whenever I see those cartoons.

I'm partial to the old warner brother cartoons.
For newer stuff, I liked the batman animated series, batman beyond, the superman animated series, and, of course, TEEN TITANS. |

I wonder if he converted to Judaism, or are there more Jewish Transformers?

I think that the two best are the original Transformers, and Gargoyles. I loved Gargoyles. That show was... Just SO cool! Xanatos was just one of the coolest villains ever.

Just to clear it up for the person who asked, Transformers was originally conceived for American TV, voiced in America, drawn in Japan, dubbed in Japanese, where it took off like crazy, leading to Armada and Robots In Disguise, which were then dubbed in English for American audiences.
So it's an American dub of a remake of a Japanese dub of an American cartoon. And I agree that Gargoyles was cool. I swear, half the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation did voices on that damned show. Despite historic records to the contrary, Beast Wars and Beast Machines never happened.

SpongeBob SquarePants!
No, seriously, I like Futurama. A close second is Samurai Jack, although the historical innaccuracies of the first episode kind of put me off a bit. Apparently the Roman Empire and Robin Hood were going on at the same time, which was the same period as the Vikings and Ancient Egypt. (For anybody who knows anything about Western History, they weren't.) Family Guy is great, and I loved Gargoyles. I also like Justice League. |
