Gathered Storm Ch.1: God's moving furniture again

And now is the time to strike.....

Out from the shadows, the hidden warrior leaped out with blazing eyes and unmatched fury, his twin blades glowing in the darkness, one in shining yellow, the other in ruby red. Out came Vengeance on the left, taking the head of an unfortunate zombie who just happened to be right beneath where the warrior landed, it's body turning into crisps of ash. Redemption followed from right, nicking a demon in the chest. It was only a slight injury, but the repercussions that came from the holy blade was death, as Redemption drained the demon's unworthy soul from it's shell, and the demon fell dead to the ground with a gurgling sigh.

"Though my spirits walks through the valley of the shadow of death," The warrior whispered to himself, Vengeance turning another demon into ash. "I shall not falter..." Redemption once again followed and plunged deep into the heart of yet another demon. Without stopping to even look, the warrior, filled with blood-lust and battle fury, leaped straight towards the direction of another demon, twin blades coming down to mark a bloody X on the demon's chest. The demon's eyes widened and looked confused, as if it was unsure of what happened to it. Then it too, burned into ash like the others before it.

But even with the fury of this holy warrior, there were dozens and dozens of other demons, and the light warriors will have a hard time to battle them....

John took a shot at a zombie that was pretty close to the train, hitting it in the head. It was kind of a lucky shot, but it didn't really matter, he still had other work to do. Taking aim at another zombie, he didn't notice a porcine coming up behind him until it was a little too late. He managed to pick up his sword and draw it, trying to slash it at the head of the demon, but he only managed to get it to bite down on the blade very hard, and it seemed like a little too much for the blade to handle. He saw a crack starting to form down the middle where it was biting down. Closing his eyes, John started to feel a boiling hatred making its way up to the surface.

"No, you won't kill me here you demonic piece of crap. I can' die to a little thing like you!" With that, he poured all of his hatred into the beast, being shown by a reddish glow between him and the porcine. He could see it start to twitch a little as he poured the energy into it, but it was very quickly that it let go squealing in pain, a deep, black burn mark on its face making it obvious where all of it had come from. It obviously had suffered from more, he knew it, but it still wasn't down.

"Tell your friends in Hell I'll be waiting for them," John mumbled as he put a bullet into the porcine's head, finally ending it. He looked at his sword. It was useless now, what with a crack in it and everything. Tossing it aside, he went back to work on shooting zombies.

ooc: The sword didn't really fit with his character very well and was kinda bugging me, so there's my reasoning to destroying the stupid little thing.

As for the Ill Will, I put 14 points into it. So burning and pretty bad tissue damage meant major pain for the demon before a bullet to the head.

Shaun stumbled into the fray pistol whipping a zombie he watched it fall to the ground, its impact onto the ground was quickly followed by a bullet impacting its skull. He fired round after round into the swarm of zombies, some clipping their chins other removing great portions of their skulls, watching the damned fall one by one was good for the spirit. Shauns attacks went unrebutted, no zombie could close in quickly enough to get him before he fired, but being 4 shots down it was almost time to reload. Shaun was surrounded now, the zombies never rushed him they slowly encircled him, he had fallen into the simplest trap, one that even the mindless could understand.

Shaun pointed his revolver through the least amount of zombies to freedom and grinned. Focusing his energy into his pistol it glowed a vibrant gold, "Be gone." he said as the zombie's grasped at his armor in a vain attempt to feed on his flesh. They pulled at him, grappled with him, they tore at him, the roar of the gun could be heard over their hoarse lifeless cries. Their corpses were rendered by the blast, the flash ripping them limb from limb. Spliting what was left of them he made his way out the zombies pushing backwards towards the train, he whips around to fire the final round from his gun into an unsuspecting zombie when he sees Richard trying to stave off a porcine. Shaun takes aim and fires the shot into the skull of the beast.

Shaun grew tired of reloading, there were more creatures then he had bullets. He holstered his gun and removed his axe from his back, "All right whose first, do you wanna piece no jaw, or how about you one arm?" The zombies shakely moved forwards as their masters urged them on. "No jaw it is." And with that Shauns axe came down.

(ooc: With the 10 for the bullet, the 8 on the armor and the 7 on the gun that puts my pp down to 2. Just so you know I'm still keeping track.)

Richard hears a gunshot ring out and then watches the Porcines head practically explode around his sword. "Stay in hell this time." Richard spits at the beast, waving to whomever had shot the creature. Richard looked around to see where the largest congragation of daemons was. He looks over to see a huge group of zombies surrounding a man with an Ax. Richard changes his hold on his sword so that it trails behind him and he runs off towards the zombies.

Richard moves swiftly towards his goal, his boots clinking quickly as he runs. When he makes it to the zombies he stops and dose a backspin with the sword compleatly reversing his momentum. He removes the head of the first zombie and it flies off over the train. Richard quickly brings his sword down and cuts another zombie in half from head to toe using his Righteous Cleave. "Mindless creatures of the dark. Be gone from this relm."

ooc: absence due to travel...oops

Brain strode, wheezing slightly but feeling the pain in his chest slowly diminish, to the paralyzed zombie as the rest of the warriors made kills that sent the remaining demons fleeing and their undead minions into disarray. He yanked the bloodied hatchet from the creature and swiped its head in two to finish the job. He called to the conductor, who had taken refuge inside "It's safe for less than five minute, get out here!"
The aged man hobbled out of the locomotive, a rifle-bearing man at his side, and spoke with a slight quiver "thank you so much, take this crowbar and use it to turn the track switch over there, and we'll gladly have you aboard if you'd like." He pointed to a a metallic depression between the service tracks and the main line about 50 yards to their east. "The gears are likely frozen, so you'll need a fair bit of strength to open it." Brian responded "just doing out jobs, but tell me one thing first, where is the next stop on this line?"
"Before the Rockies, Las Vegas, but we're taking the switch after this one to proceed south of the city."
"Perfect. You have our thanks" He said, turning with the bar in hand and yelled "Oy, which of you can bend Iron with your teeth?" as a piercing wail grew from the city center.

After a few minutes of slicing up daemons he hears a man calling out for a help. Richard sees that the man he was helping already can take care of himself. So he moves over to find out what he needs. The man explains about the pry bar and Richard sees it. "That shouldn't be a problem." Richard moves over to the strong bar and slams his sword into the ground. He Grabs hold of it in his huge hands and sets his feet. With a huge heave Richard very slowly begins to move the bar.





After several minutes of pushing the bar it creaks and the gears move into place. "Time to go!" Richard bellows. Moving over to the train door. "Everone inside! I'll hold the door!"
