Great theory and all, but you'll notice I left just after TGT got enough votes to be lynched and didn't come back until this morning at about nine thirty-ish, well after the mafia and cult did their thing.

EDIT: In fact, I left before Elbodo even voted. So I left before TGT got lynched, and before night started. Draw your own conclusions.

Fenris did state that just because Mesden and Ahra's name were in yellow that they are townies.

I THINK it's because of this (For me):

One, I was targetted by ALL FIVE mafia.

Two, the other choice was for me to be recruited into the Cult. Well, Elbodo was the new initiate so I guess I wasn't.

Wait, didn't you vote for me on the grounds that I was on at the time of the nights? And didn't I disprove that theory? So, what? No rebuttal?

Well I guess this has to be said again. Mafia is a game of manipulation, unless you have some sort of role that gives you actual evidence you have to manipulate people to your side. Hell even then you might still have to manipulate people unless your role has been revealed. Manipulation, which can also be construed as shifting attention, is basically the way you have to play this game. Well its the only way to play effectively. Manipulation isn't always lieing.

That said we should pay close attention to what people are trying to make happen. For example, if someone jumps in and psuedo defends a person they have no reason to that's strange. (The doesn't mean the couldn't be masons but its more likely the share mafiate or cult ability.) Alternatively, be wary of lists of possible threats as the potential threats missed could indicate an affilation. Also, lists with a different order than the main list can be suspicious, at least slightly. Anyone that's taken a psychology class probably knows that the first and last item of list are always remembered best.

Ok to sum up here you really need to state a greater reason than someone is being manipulative/shuffling suspicion. Everyone in the game does that to some extent. Its just how the game is played. Ofcourse there could be a few people not doing it. However, someone would pick up on it and call it being manipulative anyway simply because its so rare. That's the beauty of accusations like this. They are so utterly subjective they can be applied to just about anything. Yet people tend to believe them with very little evidence.

All I know is that you were on to vote for TGT. I don't watch who's on when, so I have no way to know you got off RIGHT after you voted for him. It only took us about 20 minutes to lynch him. Also, you could have sent in your message before the lynch, and just pointed out the TGT was dead anyway, so you might as well get in your hit before going to bed, just to speed things up.
