The NEW NPF Steam Game Night Extravaganza Funtimes Party Thread - Page 33

So, Toasty, Arcanum, and Me played Helm's Deep Survival on L4D2. T'was awesome. Many Zombies serving the dark lord of MORDOR were slain, and we fought valiantly against the hordes of undead! We faced perils such as 3 tanks at once, Smokers pulling our brave archers off the wall and into a mob of brutal violence, where none could dare save them, and such indignities as 3 jockeys and 2 hunters managing to incap the entire four man army!

Part of me wants to ring up Steel Samurai (the guy who made it) and ask for a "Helms Deep: Melee" version, where it's only normal infected, non-incap specials (except maybe Charger) and melee weapons only. Blood for the blood god, and Fire for MYSELF!

Anyway, chat was made tonight, and we discussed other than the Acronym2 varieties:

Goldeneye Source
Battlefield Series (the free online stuff too)

Some more talk was made of MMO's, but it still seems unlikely we'll band together with a world. On the otherhand, PSO:BB still seems like a good idea to me.

Well tonight was a lot of fun! Another day of sucking at L4D2 leading to hilarity and awesome.

And apparently my RAAAAAAGE at the mere mention of Hard Rain (even if it's just a joke) is enough to veto the stage... and just about anything that followed. I think I'll just stay angry at it forever due to the hilarity.

I found out my video settings for L4D2 actually were set to high, set them to the lowest, should be ok now

Sorry I kept dropping out of chat/ the server yesterday; apparently the router decided I'd had more than enough internets for one day and killed the wifi.

Last week, my internet was unavailable because I hadn't paid the bill yet, all is good now but, I'll most likely not be available this weekend :/

I would like to vouch for Altitude to be on the "Up for grabs" list, if possible.
