Your reasoning is pretty sound but neglects the fact that there is only 1 cultist (not including the leader) and the chance of him having a special role let alone being bodyguard is increadibly slim.

Simply because I just got here and while I've been following the game I didn't actually think I'd get in so I haven't come to any conclusions yet. However, Inbred Chocobo's points about the comparisson between votes against FenrisWolf and IHMN and how they seemed to floodgate does suggest Mafia activity.

My immediate suspicions were placed upon Fenris and Neyo the King but I'll wait until Neyo is either on and doesn't post in defence or tries to defend himself. In which case my judgement will be made. I agree with Mestizio reasonings against Neyo.

True.

The thing is, we don't know. And the fact that I was going to be killed when some very good points were raised agains IHMN, and IHMN started acting brash, and people decided that he was the bigger threat/target, should not be a way to declare somebody guilty.

hmmm... again you raise valid points. I'm guessing even if I vote for Neyo today (On the condition he acts suspicious as Mestizio has suggested) then it still won't convince 8 or so other people to also change their votes to him.

IHMN's crazy attitude to the VIG role does fit so I'm convinced that he isn't lying with his roleclaim. It just seems a shame that we have to lynch our biggest method of destroying the Mafia. Although with the SK there is less threat to the town and only having to content with 1 recruitment to cult and 1 death a night would help us townies I still don't feel right in destroying our Vig. I'm not voting for him because:

1) He's our Vig - one of our major hope of winning
2) He will most likely be targetted by the Cult OR Mafia tonight. We have enough evidence to suggest this so I say that we Lynch him tomorrow (If he is still alive) when we are CERTAIN he is evil. Give him one last attempt at a kill. If he kills a townie then it doesn't matter because we didn't LYNCH a townie. Either way we'll lose a townie...

My vote stays unless someone can convince me he is already in the Cult/Mafia and has been from almost the beggining. (Remember, Twiddy could have been recruited to the cult and killed in the same night)

Why would me becoming a cultist be bad? CMP said that if a mafia member becomes a cultist, his/her allegiance would be split. So if the vigilante were to become a culstist, he would still be a townie. And, being a cultist, I would know the identities of a few other people (I assume), so that would lead to less random killings (Which so many people seem to be against). Plus, you will know the identity of one cultist, so when the mafia is gone and you need to get rid of them, you can instantly get me.

Edit - I assumed the cult could only win if the leader is alive in the end, and he converts everyone who is still alive. If he dies, all of the cultist simply go back to their original roles.

Nope, then the cult tries to kill everyone to make sure only the cult is alive. I've decided not to vote for you. While I'm not sure you're the vig, killing you would really not help any of us. I agree with this method. Our vig still gets a kill and then any threat he could become is eliminated. Although, if he is the vig as he says, we should ask him who he will kill tonight and see if it happens. Though the mafia could screw this up by taking out the same person, but I doubt they would waste their kill like that. This whole plan could work spectacularly or fail miserably, though. There is no inbetween here. I still like this plan more than anything else we've come up with so far.

hmm, i suppose that could work. there are alot of holes in the plan, but i'm willing to go along with it.

But yes, that is rather convenient that IHMN started to try to get people to just kill a person for the off chance we get a non-townie, when I was having votes pile up.

I cannot control the other people playing this game. Accusing me of such says that you are trying desperately to get me killed. Why are you accusing me? I thought I explained myself.

I'll clarify that post here.

I may be acting suspicious, but somebody who is acting even more suspicious is accusing me.

Also when I said that the votes were snowballing, and when I said:

What I meant by that was, the fact that I try to vote for somebody else who is acting suspicious is not a reason to vote for my death.
