yea does seem odd, you cant really "jump into the franchise" at the end. There is nothing to jump into, its over.

So after watching my sister play through the demo, there is one commentary I can offer.

The whole glowing-orange-magic-wrist-sword thing? That animation is so broken. It's boring, it takes too long, rendering it ineffective, it screws up the camera too much. And I cannot stand that animation since my sister pointed that it is frame for frame an exact replica of Adam Jensen punched a hole in a wall in the most recent Deus Ex. If it weren't for the fact they were a different company, I would assume that they actually reused the animation. This makes me disproportionately sad, because when it was announced there was going to BE a glowing-orange-magic-wrist-soup-can-opener-phallus-sword I got excited at the prospect of the animation team getting to go crazy and see what they could come up with. Instead, I'm left with a sad face.

The rest of it looks good though.

Most animation in modern games is motion capture, and as I understand it, rather common to just buy existing animations. So wouldn't surprise me if they did that

So, to all you people upset about what Bioware is doing with the franchise. I have an idea for you. Don't buy it. Buy something else.

How about you buy FFXIII-2? Even if you don't like XIII-2, though I think it's a very good game, you can feel good at supporting what was very much an attempt by Square Enix to fix what was wrong with their previous game and take a step in the right direction.

In contrast, if you end up not liking ME3 when it releases, not only did you spend money on a game you were disappointed in, but you also proved Bioware right in making the changes it did, because those changes didn't stop you from buying it and they brought in a new demographic.

Let's say you still don't want to buy XIII-2, because it's not your cup of tea or whatever, but are still critical of ME3. Buy any other game that you think is a step in the right direction for a company. Any game! Rather that just complaining about the very things you're supporting, incentivize doing otherwise. You can do it, NPF. I believe in you.

Oh god no. Legacy of Kain will never EVER have a proper ending. Tony Jay is dead so the Elder God just won't be the same, and Amy Hennig is with Naughty Dog. I just want a collection on steam or a HD re-release or something like that. None of those games are digital as far as I can tell as one full package (besides piracy but I rather actually OWN it all).
