Heh, that's usually the kind of haircut I like to get. People do poke at it quite a bit. :shifty:
I guess maybe I'll get used to it, right now it's just kind of frustrating though. That said, I drew this sometime over the summer, and it's one of the cleaner cartoon people I've done:  ...but it's still kind of simple, so I went back and added a bit of color:  It's not great, but it's okay for a first go at digital coloring. That stuff is pretty cool. I'm not exactly sure of mood, but the second one looks less happy than the first; I think it's the blue. |

That looks good for a first try. My first attempt at digital coloring was.... not so good. Just keep practicing with lines and colors and you'll get the hang of it.

The black one makes me think of that Starry Night painting by Van Gogh. It's all whooshy. I like 'em though, they'd make good desktop backgrounds.

Thanks, I'm glad you guys liked them. ^^ Playing with colors is fun.
I got to take some of my art from class back, so I'll just post a few. I'll post more when I get the rest back and can get better light.  We were told to go find a window and draw out of it. I climbed on top of a shelf and drew out a window. Took about an hour.  Finished version of the samurai from before. Not a lot different, but I like it.  We went outside to draw. The sun was going down so I had to do it really fast so that my shadows would stay the same. ^^ It got smeared pretty badly while in holding. D= Sorry these ones are messy. We don't get a lot of time to work on our pieces, and we're not supposed to erase so... ^^ Some of my favorite ones haven't been given back to me yet, so I'll post those later.
