Sort of. You can't connect with normal wifi drivers, and the drivers and settings you do need to connect with it apparently don't make normal wifi connection doable. So if you already have a wifi network set up, then you will need a second adapter specifically for Kai.

But all you need is a $20 adapter for it to work, which still puts it above getting a PS3 in terms of cost.

Says you. I can't do a adapter because of the Uverse's system doesn't necessarily work that way. But I can't do ad hoc party because the PS3 wont let me do it with a wireless connection. And I can't plug it in because of the same deal with Uverse. Seriously I am fucked ether way.

Basically, for Xlink Kai, you need to have a computer with a wired connection and a $20 usb wireless drive designed for it. Simple to put together, and can be used to tunnel any ad-hoc item (not just psp), but if you don't have that setup its not going to work.
