DA-DA-DA-DAA DAA DAA DA DA-DAAAAAA!

*ceremonially chops off hand*
Remember that labrynth project I posted ideas for earlier? Well... here it is. WARNING: THIS IS HUGE Sorry the picture quality is bad, the camera was about to die (and I couldn't scan it, as it's 24x20". Done entirely with a fine-point pen (why did I do that?!?! I remember questioning my sanity a few times while working on it) Actually, for the dots in the background, I taped 4 pens together to make the job faster. It saved my life. Hope you guys like. I'm turning it in Monday, so if you have any pointers, let me know. EDIT: and I just finished another meme, this time Super Smash Brothers Brawl Style:

Ha! Art memes are fun. That was funny, CJ. Wish I had a tablet (well, I do, but it sucks.) or...a faster scanner...or something...so I could do a meme. Wah.
The labrynth thing is cool. I've never been able to do designs like that...I have friends who aren't artists who can do that stuff, but I can't for some reason. I can still only draw people. Last edited by TDK; 03-29-2008 at 10:38 PM. |

Me screwing around with a tablet s'more. This time, I really tried experimenting with colors, and I'm fairly satisfied with the results.

Ok, so I have a request, and I figured it was better to post it here rather than in it's own thread. If I'm wrong, just move it. I can't draw for shit, and I'd like to get a picture of my DnD character for a website, so I'd like to make a request, if I could for a human (race) dragon shaman (class). He's a young adult, wields a spiked chain, and if you could add some kind of aura to him (maybe like a spirit of a dragon behind him), that would be so cool. He has some light chainmail and such on, and as for a description, he's white, has black hair and green eyes.
Thanks all you art peoples! EDIT: As for a pose, perhaps one of him preparing for combat would be good. Thanks again! |

The final climactic battle between me and my friend Sebastian for no particular reason.
[IMGHIDE]http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/3631/fightuq9.png[/IMGHIDE] Not really lookin' for criticism, was focusing more on it looking like us, which it does. Just a sketch I did in 5th period, anyweh. He is standing further in the background, and yes, those ARE Bear Spears. Update: Sketch of an angel. Trying to do difficult positions, rather than just draw something else as I used to do. I'm also trying to get the hang of depth and foreshortening. Sonuvabitch, why does this freakin' scanner slant everything?!...The face on this sketch bugs me... Stupid slanty scanner! Last edited by TDK; 04-09-2008 at 05:09 PM. |

Huzzah! So much work, all of it nicely done (high fives all around!)!
I realize I haven't posted in some time (too much school), so I whipped something up about an hour ago for just such a purpose! It's just a rough idea of something I want to do for a story. I haven't settled on a design for the robot though (or the girl, for that matter). Originally I wanted the machine up in the air catching the boulder, but it kind of went to it just standing there holding it. No idea how. :p

TopHatAssassin:
That's awesome. I don't have much experience drawing robots (Although I'm working on it), and I find it amazing that someone could draw something that complex in an hour. Maybe it's just me... >> Anyway, one thing that looks a tad iffy is his right leg. There's always the possibility that the lower half can rotate horizontally, but it's not easily indicated by the left leg, so I'm just going on assumption here. Other than that, it looks completely awesome. He's got that "Iron Giant" feel to him. Or, atleast, it's what he reminds me of.
