Gluttony? Come on now, Gluttony's the stupidest and slowest of the Homonculi. The one beam thingie he does in the Manga is, potentially, the most dangerous attack of any of the homonculi. I mean, there's not really any defense against it, but Gluttony's too stupid to be really dangerous, even WITH that.

Then why did he lash out against Roy. Because he knew that it was Roy who called Lust. and if Sora kills Lust first, that would make Gluttony mad enough to fight back. Gluttony isn't as dumb as he looks. Well he is, but intelligence has nothing to do with that.


And need I remind you that the Homunculi can regenerate at will. So if they get cleaved in two, they'll be repaired almost instantly.

Link (Twilight Princess) vs Legolas (The Movies)

This would be like the fight we had with Link against Captain America in the other thread. Link just doesn't have the mobility. I guess he could deflect the arrows with his shield, but in close combat Legolas would kick his ass very easily.

Wolf Link, however, would be a perfect match for the elfy-guy.

Actually I think Link's items in Twilight Princess give him a unique edge, particularly the gale boomerang could be used to throw all of Legolas's arrows off course, and the ones he didn't get with the boomerang he could block with his shield. Now in close combat, Link gained some actual moves and techniques that make him more formidable then his other forms in close battles. But I don't see Link engaging in close combat immediately, instead I think Link will use the double clawshot to get enough height and or distance from Legalos to where he can comfortably throw bombs, use bomb arrows and bomblings to take Legalos out. Legalos's agility give him the chance to dodge, but I think the large area and number of explosions will make it difficult even for the elf. If that fails then I think Link's combination of special items, shield and sword-play give him the edge he needs in close combat, over Legalos who is at-least slightly injured (I'd say fatigued but they ran for days without stopping when chasing after the captured hobbits) by this time.

So to re-cap. Legalos opens by taking shots with his bow, Link deflects them with his Gale Boomerang, sends it at Legalos causing his arrows to scatter across the ground, shattering most of them. Then Link uses the clawshot to avoid Legalos as he unleashes a barrage of explosives. Should Legalos survive this, Link takes on an injured Elf in one on one combat and through a combination of magi tricks and swordsman skills manages to best him.

I disagree (with Neko, but agree with Hax). At range, Link can hide behind his shield easily enough, and deflect any incoming arrows. He can also (and I know this because I've done it), actually fire his arrows well enough to knock other arrows out of the sky. Further, with Z-targetting (or if you're just really good) he can chain arrow shots just as well as Legolas can. Not only that, but if it started at a far enough distance, Link can use the hawk eye to hit from ridiculous range, and he has access to exploding arrows... so he wouldn't even have to actually hit Legolas to kill or maim him.

Also, once the battle moves into melee (and it would eventually, because Legolas won't be able to shoot him), Link has a few abilities that I doubt Legolas could deal with. Like my personal favorite, the Mortal Draw.

He can also go wolf form whenever he wants later on. I really don't think that'd give him much of an advantage, though. It's easier to dodge in human form, and you get access to a lot of extra attack abilities as well as being able to do more damage in general... and all the extra items.

Besides, when has Legolas ever really proven himself in Melee aside from the little mook killing he did at Helm's Deep? Link is sure to win, especially after clearing that pit of trials thing.

But if Legolas and Link fight, everyone with female parts is a winner.

Been a while since I read LoTR or the Silmarillion, so I'll only tackle the first.

The Lich-King is at this point a demi-god and the focus of a hive mind spanning millions of undead, he's a lot more at Sauron's or even Melkor's level than the Witch-King's, he'd simply raise a few hundred banshees or female death knights(raised from that Night Elf hero class that rides tigers) and tear him apart.

Now pre Lich-King Arthas would be a much better fight, I'd say Arthas might be more powerful, but the whole "can't die by a man's hand" means that unless undead are exempt Arthas will eventually be forced back unless he can raise some female soldiers to finish the WK.

Sauron vs Homonculus

Sauron's biggest ability is manipulating people's flaws, and homunculuses are basically one hundred percent flaw. He'd just be like "hello there, would you like one of these snazzy-looking rings?" and the homunculus would be like "GIMMIE!" and put it on and be like "Oh hey, I think I'll be Sauron's slave now."
