There are three reasons to put someone in jail. a) To keep them alive, b) to keep them from voting, or c) to reduce the number of people needed for lynch. Judging by how neither was voting and we aren't even close to a bandwagon yet, it must have been to keep them alive.
I believe that Sheb is an inexperienced vigilante, and doesn't always hit his target. That he would hit IHMN instead indicates that B_real will do whatever the hell he wants with flavor text (surprised?). Nikose's suggestion about Roy... that he has a "cannot be night-killed, kill you back" role... would indicate that Roy is not town-aligned, since that would be an insanely powerful player. However, the game is totally rigged. And we most certainly shouldn't take Nikose's word for it. For now, I am going to Vote: Roy. |

Yeah, I think Im gonna VOTE: Roy as well, something seems weird, and I dont want him around ti kill me.
EDIT: Newb, I believe you cant talk till the next day, cant vote, and cant be voted for, so, you are screwed, but also safe at the same time. |

B_Real ruled that people in jail can talk if they want.

So... I just can't vote?
Also, I can't imagine why somebody would think I'm being protected. I got pulled away from my orgy to be questioned about vampires! I mean, how low can you get?

There's a fourth reason to jail someone too, Nayno. To keep them from acting at night. Until I was let out, I wouldn't have been able to use my vig powers last night. Another possibility is that someone thinks ecurt and newb have night roles, but it's still kind of a long time until night voting wise that it wouldn't make sense to jail them this early, I think. Unless the jailers aren't going to be around to be able to watch the forums for a while.

Heh, if that's what it is, the jailer really messed up.
May I present a fifth possibility? The jailer didn't realize that jailed peoples could talk due to not paying attention and wanted to make the both of us not talk because they know about our histories in these games. If it's the fourth or the fifth, sucks for them, cause they just accomplished nothing.

Sheb got let out early last time. I guess it's a sometimes-but-maybe-not sort of thing.
I did forget that jailed people can't act at night, tho. I suppose if someone feels that there is sufficient evidence that either Ecurt or Newb have night roles, they might have done it for that reason too. |
