Thanks Savage. ^o^ It wasn't... hm... it wasn't so difficult to do, really (the boulder helps by hiding a lot of the body :p), it was really just a matter of slapping some plate down and throwing in some intricate-looking details where they were called for. The joints and inner workings were probably the toughest part (I'm no mechanic, I have no idea how things would work). I have to agree about the right leg though, I'm not entirely pleased with it. The angle seems so off.
And TDK, that's pretty darn shweet. Nazis captured Santa, that'd make for an awesome story.

If you read Overcompensating (and if you don't, you should) and you are familiar with Sweeney Todd, you might find what I made today amusing:
I'll probably make more and turn it into a comic.

edit. Seems the doubting was unfounded, inspiration struck and demanded I work on the sketch even more.

Here's a sketch I did about a year ago. I found it not too long ago and I thought I should post it up. Couple of things are kinda off (Like the glasses), but oh well. That, and I never got around to finishing it. Should do that some time... >>

TopHatAssassin - I really like the design of that robot holding the boulder. Actually, after looking at it for a little bit, the boulder kind of looked like a wad of paper, which the robot was rolling up. ^^ Still looks nice
TDK - Absolutely love the "How I saved Christmas" picture, it made me laugh thoroughly. Are there lions swimming in the tank of water too? RickZarber - Heh it looks nice. I don't get it at all, but it looks nice (haven't seen Sweeney Todd or read Overcompensating) I like the thick lines. Skweeb - Yes you should keep eating oatmeal. =D Savage Thinking - Very unique style. Crazy perspective. Nice job with facial hair. I can never do facial hair without making someone look like a child molester. ^^;;; Picture I drew in a couple minutes for my brother's fiance's birthday. I <3 Dalton.

Aww! Thanks, CJ.
You know bears have opposable thumbs? They can open doors. There could be a bear in your house RIGHT NOW. |

I rather like your pirate-y person (I only say pirate-y because of the eyepatch). Also, eyepatches are cool. TDK, your randomness (and also profound) work rocks once again, as always. I would also say that I think your skill is considerable. And I hate FOIL. Skweeb, I rather enjoyed your oatmeal-fueled and remote European (Russian?) mythical old lady hosting a backyard party (she doesn't ride on that thing, does she?). And also that orcish fellow there, he looks quite sociable despite his background. Savage, nicely done again, as always. I'd say the face is the best part, just the left arm kinda throws me off. It looks... longish. And Rick - though I have neither seen Sweeney Todd nor do I read Overcompensating - I found your piece amusing all the same. Just something about a guy who looks like he's trying to be menacing - and also harassing, I would imagine, that animal in the window - pushes a certain button in me. ^O^ Right on! I've got something new for you guys, another self-portrait (groan) type thing. I was trying to be moody in a menacing way (rough day), and I've wanted to do something similar before but it didn't come out right. This was... hm... a bit better I suppose, and currently serves as my facebook image. :p
