I want to point out that no one has really taken Dr. Strange's power into thought as much as they could have. Especially on a number of different fronts.

Dr Strange has the power to flip things, that was made obvious by the night's events. Perhaps his power doesn't end during the night, and continues into the day?

Newb, surrounded by all the heroes who had come to gotham, finally raises his purple hands in defeat. "Alright, I admit who I am. I'm the PURPLE MAN, MAFIATE." he sighed. "Look, I know all this is kind of weird, but I-"
Before anything else could be said, Newb was grabbed by the police. "We'll take it from here, Superheroes!" The police cried, binding him and carting him off to Arkum Asylum. DAY 2 IS OVER. SEND IN YOUR NIGHT ROLES. As night began to fall, Dr. Strange floated once more into the air, planning on screwing with reality again. Superman felt a sudden urge to begin killing, but there was enough sunlight left to have him shake off the strange feeling, fly up and uppercut Dr. Strange. "Go home!" Superman said, and chased Dr. Strange off. Dr. Strange still managed to effect part of the night, though. The Green Ranger had drawn his dagger and was preparing to strike down Mesden, when suddenly he realized how foolish that idea really was. Instead, he was prepared to protect her at all costs! And then he saw superman stalking up on her, spying. He lunged at Superman and the Green ranger chased him off. Daredevil, who had been standing guard over roy, suddenly felt a strange hate bubbling up inside of him. He lunged, and clubbed Roy over the head and ripped off his disguise. It was then revealed that Roy was "THE SHADOW, MAFiA ALIGNED." Daredevil was going to kill him, but the police showed up to cart his body to Arkum Asylum too. In the night, Moogle suddenly realised he was being watched. Despite spinning around, he only caught the breifest glimpse of someone who looked like some 80's batman clone, who then ran off into the night. DAY 3 HAS BEGUN.

So Superman beat up Dr. Strange. Green Ranger instead of trying to kill someone actually ended up protecting that very person. Seems like the exact opposite happened with Daredevil as well, changed from being a BG to a vigilante or something. My guess is that whoever Daredevil is was protecting Roy, but because of Dr. Strange ended up killing him and luckily they ended up being mafia. And what the hell is an 80's Batman clone doing stalking me? Was that a failed hit or some such on me because of Dr. Strange mucking with powers again and my would-be killer messed up instead of succeeding?
So the question of the day is do we go after Ecurt again if we believe him to be Dr. Doom? Any word from the FF4 people on this would be great (especially Intern Nin). Edit: And where the hell did Wolverine go? |
