Wait, actually a no lynch makes sense somewhat. It's Village Mafia and we haven't officially seen any evidence of Mafia or Cult activity. Also, the fact that there are childhood friends, and how it seems like it's more that we are killing each other when we're mostly innocent (except for an SK B_Real) villagers being thrown against each other because of the death of the Town Lawmaker. The situation seems a lot like KP's Mafia.

I suspected it was Bunny after this complaint about grammar, but I decided I wanted to know more. So I went along with the mayor thing and immediately requested more support, hoping to get a few names out of the deal.

However, because more people didn't vote for my opposition, it remains to be seen if Bunny was actually telling the truth about being vanilla and having no actual support, or if potential allies didn't actually need to vote. Damn you, low turnout.

Now, onto what has happened more recently. I suspect that the mafia is smaller than normal, not non-existant. After all, twenty people and five mafiates is fine if there aren't so many killing roles running around. However, with three killers, that just becomes god-damned ridic-err... odd.

As for who I suspect, there's much less. I suspect Wizardcat, but that's most likely just a gut-reaction on my part due to the fact that he keeps calling me scum. No one else is really jumping out at me.

So, if you guys want, I'm willing to vote for a no lynch and then call a curfew. If we do that, then we have a chance of having a town-aligned night role spotting a mafiate or cultie, and then we can work off of who was working with them in the thread. It's probably the best move, in my opinion, since at this point I think a lynch would hit town.

I've spent the morning (well, in between meetings, at least) thinking about our current situation here in town, and I cannot support a No Vote.

The reason is because Ol' Dude With the Face was and Demetrius currently is the cult leader. Here's why:

1) I know for an absolute fact RedFighter is Vanilla Townie. Part of my ability (can prove it, too). I had the same question you guys did when I got the results "Why has he not been culted?" Then the answer hit me... "Because nobody has been culted". As Pink Bunny pointed out, there has been no flavor text to support cult activity of any type. The Cult Leader has been completely inactive. Subsequently, ODWTF is booted from the game, and Dem adopts the role, going into hyperdrive about cult-this-and-cult-that. Looks like someone who is trying get the entire town spinning about the cult while escaping from cult suspicion himself.

2) Why do I think ODWTF is the cult leader? Same thing that brought me to B_real as scum: BHS is setting it up so that the privately evil people have powerful, important public roles. ODWTF was classified as "Town Elder", who just about always ends up being the person pulling the strings in every bit of movies, television, games and literature. On top of that, he had Double Vote power. There is hardly any other power a cult leader would rather have, because it makes it all that much easier to spur on beneficial bandwagons and allows them to exert that much more control. Now ODWTF is Dem Pt. 2.

3) Dem's first action after getting back in the game (besides a somewhat joke vote of Pink Bunny) is to implicate me, the only person absolutely immune to the cultists and the only protection the entire town has from being culted. Getting me lynched as his first cult leader action would make the game all that much easier for him to move about the game freely and unabated, especially with a mafia kill coming that will thin the numbers the cult needs to control lynches ON TOP OF the Double Vote powers.

It fits. Ol' Dude was cult leader, was inactive, and was replaced by Dem who comes into the game nursing a power role that needs to be caught up on.

If I'm right, the cult has zero members right now, and the bodyguards will be Dem's first target. Once he has night protection, he simply sways the lynch votes with misdirection and his power, and BOOM. Cult win.

I have had a good sense about the game since the beginning, including straight up calling B_real. I see the same thing happening with Dem and firmly believe he's the cult leader. Now is the time to act, while he has no foothold in the game.
