Well, it taught me that just because it eats grass doesn't mean it isn't a beefy ferocious human-tossing fighter. And my species wasn't known for any of that at all, when they really had the potential to. They'll still be peaceful and honourable probably, just really nasty if you do somehow provoke one. Gotta draw!

Facebook Graffiti. Allows you to do layering with the use of transparency, the below pictures illustrate this:

The red one almost has pi sign on it. I don't know what they are, but they're oddly mesmerizing. Fun!
I finished my drawing and coloured it some. It's been a long time since I've drawn with my serious style on actual paper. I still went over it with the tablet's programs, but it felt good to have to use a real eraser again. So yeah; this is how they've come together so far. They'll probably have to wear loincloths or something eventually, when I remember they're not animals but tribal folk.

I'd suggest less fur and increasing body mass/shrinking the head in comparison to each other.
Right now it looks kinda cute, and not that imposing. The size of the head makes the entire body look small, regardless of how large it's supposed to actually be. Like a child or something.

I think's its more the lower half is a little undersized compared to the upper body. Those legs are pretty puny compared to the arms.
EDIT: Looking a little more closely, that might just be the large head throwing me off a little actually.

If you wish it to look more bestial, perhaps angling the spine to be less straight and giving sort of a hunch could make them look more imposing?
Sort of similar to this spinal structure: |

Absolutely right. The proportions are off, the legs ought to be longer than that. (I ran outta room on the paper actually. A stupid mistake, I know!) These guys weren't supposed to be the most intimidating of the lot I'm making up, but they would still be improved by being hella taller.
Aw crap, the arms are off too. You'd think I'd notice these things before I post them. That werewolf's got really long forearms, but it still works somehow. Hmm.

I liked the first facial drawing of this thing a lot.
I have no idea why you want to make him horribly dangerous. >.0 Also, nasal speech would be a real pain in the ass for noses as we know them. If it's some sort of whistling, humming would work just as well, which would free things up to put the palette back in and give the skull a hell of a lot more stability and the brain a hell of a lot more safety. From an evolutionary standpoint, a palette is a good idea, and people with cleft-palette syndrome often suffer health and safety issues, IIRC. Also, if you do want to go with the palette thing, try feeling with your tongue along the roof of your mouth as far back as you can. I dunno about yours, but in my mouth, there's a bit at the back with no bone supporting it. If you take that hole and put some sort of sphincter or glottis or something there, you can keep the stability of the skull and still allow for a direct passage.
