Wait a minute. How about we find someone else to target target and give Zilla another suspected person to kill during the night?

If Zilla kills the person then it's reasonable to assume there's no lie here, but if Zilla ISN'T the vigilante, then I'm willing to bet the vigilante won't kill that person in order to expose Zilla as a liar and we have a lynch for tomorrow.

I honestly don't know where to go with all the lying going on so I think we need to lynch for the sake of information-gathering.

e: Just realized Truce suggested the same thing.

I don't mean to cover for you, I mean to keep you looking like the killer if you weren't. If the killer can't be culted, I would assume the cults would have a different way of dealing with them other than sit around and wait to be randomly chosen to die. That way, the killer keeps the attention on you and hope they aren't picked to be culted anytime soon.

Why would the killer "keep the attention on me" by making my play consistent? Why wouldn't they pick someone else and guarantee that I get lynched tomorrow, and then hide in the shadows like they've done all game?
