"What's with the goofy robes? I decided NOT to go to Amtgard this week..." RD's garb had changed, along with some of her powers, into... "White Mage? Aw, that's not cool...someone else must've picked RM. Oh, well...with all these psychos running around, I'm sure SOMEONE will need healing soon." She wandered off to explore the town.

DB suddenly appears, and finds himself wearing a pointy yellow hat, and that his eyes have turned yellow. "It figures.........I'm Black Mage"
 he says......suddenly feeling an odd compulsion to stab TD......meanwhile he wanders off into the town to wreak havoc...

RD:"Excuse me, sir, but have you seen anything, ah, odd about town lately? People appearing out of thin air, perhaps?"
Townsperson:"Bless the crystals!" RD: "Okay, I was right, this IS FFI...but, how will I find the others? Gosh, do I even want to?" Townsperson:"Bless the crystals!" RD: "Right, thanks, pal...actually, hey! That's not a bad idea. I'll seek out the throne room. If they're following the plot of the game, they should be converging there soon." Townsperson:"Bless the -" RD: "And bless the crystals to you, too. Siyonara, dude." RD waves goodbye to the "helpful" NPC, and starts heading for the huge palace.

a few minutes after RD stops talking to the NPC, he is stabbed through the head by DB....who is sick and tired of the damn repetitive idiot......."What the hell is there to do in this stupid town anyway?" DB sees the palace and decides to go check it out....maybe it has evil pie or something....

Her magical awareness picking up on a powerful energy with a dark resonance, RD whirls around to see a black mage.
"Oh, dear lord, I should've seen this coming...which one of those Calvinballers are you, and where are the bodies of the innocents? 'Cause I just know there are gonna be bodies..." I had always thought BM was cute, RD thought with a shudder, but now...it's just seeming kinda evil and creepy...

DB/BM shakes his head, trying to maintain control "must.........NOT........hurt.......innocents! No more stabbing.........it might be a real person and not a brainless NPC next time" DB looks over at the NPC, which seems as unaffected as Fighter by the stab through the head..."Well.......on to the palace!".......once inside, he runs into RD, who asks about bodies. "what bodies? I didn't do it!.......Oh, yeah, I'm DB..."

"Yeah.....that's me. I always thought the calvinball was a crystal, though black and spherical, and due to its magical nature it's very lightweight.....anyway, I have no clue about the FF motif, though it's certainly a dream come true I wish I knew what was going to happen next......." He looks around too, admiring the tasteful decorations on the palace walls.

"Yeah.........sorry about that........my Simbul's Systnodweomer spell would normally have fixed him, but it doesn't seem to work here.......lucky he didn't seem to affected much by a direct stab to the brain......" leads her over to the (still standing) npc, who smiles cheerfully and waves....DB says sadly "Black Mage instincts took over for a sec, it won't happen again now that I know how to control it."
