McCain Camp "offended" by Tina Fey's portrayal

I'm a pretty judge of character when it comes to picking who to vote for. I believe that if you don't want to vote regardless of who runs. If you don't want to vote and have a good reason, then it's your choice. I don't know about anyone else, but I am not the kind of person to waist my vote just to say I voted. I personally only vote when I am SURE that one of the canidates will make a decent president. I have a feeling that some people won't vote for either of these two.

Not that I think it'll necessarily change your opinion of her, but I would suggest you read this thread if you already haven't. And here's a few direct links to posts I make questioning her qualifications.

Additionally, I think I should point out that Palin's approval rating is starting to dip (and this was before the economic crisis started to sink in).

Also, she isn't helping that much in bringing in Clinton supporters. At best, she's bringing in 1-in-4.

Voters who supported Hillary Clinton in the primaries are not fully embracing the new woman in the race. Forty-eight percent of Clinton voters say they have an unfavorable view of Palin, while 20 percent view her positively.

Still, one in four registered voters who were Clinton supporters in the primary say they plan to support the McCain-Palin ticket in November.

But that's again, that's before the economic crisis settled in, and the actual issues could bring those people back into the fold.

While Palin remains popular among McCain voters, the poll suggests that the McCain campaign may have cause for concern. More than half of registered voters do not think Palin is prepared for the job of Vice President, and even McCain supporters cite "inexperience" as what they like least about her.

Just 17 percent of registered voters say McCain chose Palin because she is well qualified for the job of Vice President. Seventy-five percent say McCain made the choice to help win the election. (Even voters backing the Republican ticket share this view: 53 percent say the Palin choice was to help McCain win in November.)

McCain was almost upstaged at the rally here by Palin, who drew rapturous applause from the crowd with her bubbly declaration -- twice -- that she and McCain were "going to Washington, D.C., to shake things up!''

McCain recited a speech he had given earlier in the day about the need to reform Wall Street. A slow but steady trickle of supporters began to file out after Palin's speech introducing McCain.
