"Hello there Lee," I'm Viola, I couldn't help notice your...partner. So I thought I'd come see how you were doing here…wherever here is. Oh, and the red bird behind me is my partner, Starlemon. So how are you?”
Lee gave the girl an odd bemused look before replying, "Oh, simply fantastic! I've only been abducted to god knows where by god knows what for who knows why and have since been harrassed by the happiest thing alive!", he answered sarcatically. "Who you callin' a thing!?", Buffalomon retorted quickly, but then got kicked in the head by Colugomon, who then proceeded to state his authority. "Ah Colugomon, still as big headed as ever then? You clearly haven't grown up that much after all huh?" Strangely he didn't seem angry as he said this. Lee was starting to wonder whether it was even possible to annoy Buffalomon. "Serves you right for being such a loud mouth", Lee told his partner, but the next moment he found himself having his hand forcibly shaken by another boy. He wrenched his had away and Cael turned his attention to Viola, allowing Lee to escape his further attention. "Can we all please just figure out what is going on here, so we can go home?"

As Jamario fought to contain the struggling Colugomon, everyone started to speak up.
The tall kid with brown hair came up first, followed by some sort of soldier dinosaur, and introduced himself, looked at Jamar Quote:
"You humans are new, so I'll let it slide, but all the digimon here know I'm the strongest, you want proof? I've never lost a fight, just ask them" his eyes dared the other digimon to disagree

"It wouldn't kill you to be more upbeat, you know." Viola said defensively to Lee right before the new boy, Cael, introduced himself.
After he finished, Viola shrugged, "Well it doesn't matter much to me about being the 'leader', it's not like we have a real group yet. We'll cross that bridge when, and if, we come to it." Meanwhile, Starlemon had settled quietly on Viola's shoulder, an amused glint in her eyes as she looked at Colugomon. "And I'm certainly not listening to that crazy flying rat." The bird added when Viola finished. "Star, that isn't helping." Viola whispered fiercely.

Surprised by the sudden show of teamwork, even if masked by sarcasm and insults, Tragyk starts to lighten up "Mmhmm, Mr. Dinofox here did get pretty tough looking, *grin* he's even got a pair of adorable little wings sprouting. And as far as me being a leader, I don't know. I do kind of think it's weird I was the only person not to scream wildly and run around at the sight of my little lump of love." *silently thinks to himself, 'Maybe thats because I originally thought he was jello...'* T is now hungry.

Aim for the top!

Jun listened patiently as everyone either introduced themselves or fought, Houndmon sitting patiently at her side. He seemed to compliment her personality well, and that made her happy. She also noticed that most of the people she was grouped with were younger than her. She thought for a moment about piping up as the leader just because she was the oldest, but then thought against it. "Hello," she said once it had quieted down, "my name is Jun. This is Houndmon. As it seems like no one here knows anything about what's going on, maybe we should hold off on a leader and just work together as a group. Ultimately if we choose a leader, it'll just be the blind leading the blind."

Jenna raised a brow as the battle for leader went on. It seemed like a completely ridiculous conversation to have, the moment after they'd arrived. It came as a relief when Jun spoke up. Finally, someone thinking!
"That's right," she commented. "What's the point in being a leader if we don't even know what's going on? That hardly seems like the important thing here." She grinned, hoping to pull them out of the silly argument. Akuamon nodded. "This is hardly the place or the time. You are Chosen, it will hardly do to have you squabbling amongst yourselves this early." Jenna beamed. "Yeah, what he said! Let's just be buddies, huh?"

"No mommy! It's not time for school on wednesdays! Don't look at the clock! The clock is full of lies and we must run from it! Running is like a religion, it doesn't give you eternal life, but it gives you extended life!" Jeremy mumbled to himself before his eyes managed to stabilize, and he looked looked directly at Rosetta for the first time.
He was awed by what he saw. "Hey! Those are my goggles! Thief! Thief! Someone call the police! Chisokumon! Do something! Other than being an evil monster of death, I mean." "I'm not evil!" Chisokumon reiterated. Jeremy leapt from Rosetta's grasp and struck a pose. "Those goggles were a gift from my mother. And not only are they fashionable, they show that I am clear leader material! The alpha male! One pulled by destiny, and with the coolest cutscenes and action figures!"

Jeremy seemed better already. He was still spouting nonsense, but at least he wasn't running around like an idiot anymore. It was more like standing in a pose. That is, if you could call that a pose anyway.
"Shut up," she said, with a blank look on her face. "Or do I have to throw Lunamon at you again?" "Rosetta!" "I'm joking, I'm joking," Rosetta said, raising her hands in defense. "I wouldn't do that again." "Really?" Lunamon asked, sparkling eyes wide open. "Really," Rosetta said, smiling. The two hugged, and the subject of the goggles was avoided. Forever. "Anyway," Rosetta said, holding Lunamon in her arms once more. "Now that I see that you're okay, just calm down. It's bad enough you ran into me, but you made me forget what I was doing too. "And you, Charlie Brown," she said, glancing at Charles. "Just what in the world are the rest of those guys doing over there?" |

Eric had been typing away at his laptop wasting time before he went to bed when the e-mail popped up. He wasn't sure who it was from, or what was in it, so he turned on his firewall before clicking on it. Unfortunately the firewall did nothing to prevent the bright flash of light created by his screen which blinded him and made him topple back over his chair. Only, he didn't hit the hard ground when he fell, it just felt like he was falling for a really long time before everything went dark.
-- Eric woke up as he felt something hitting his chest over and over. He opened his sleepy eyes but was blinded by the sun. Shielding the light with his hand he saw a red spikey ball with a flame on it's head bouncing up and down on him. He blinked a few times, making sure he wasn't hallucinating, then acted appropriately. "AAAGGGHHHH!" he yelled as he scrambled away from the thing. "Don't be scared," it said in a cheery, high pitched voice. "I'm Sunmon and you're destined to be my partner!" "It can talk. The red blob is on fire, and it can talk," Eric mumbled to himself, too stunned to notice the other humans freaking out to their own blobs. "I'm not a red blob," Sunmon protested, "I'm Sunmon and I'm your Digimon." "Digimon? Is this some kind of prank? Please let this just be some crazy dream, or a coma." "This is all very real Eric. You're in the Digital World, and you're here to help us." "Digital World? Help you? Help you with what? I don't even know what's going on here!" "Well... umm... for one you help us Digivolve." "Digivolve?" At this point Eric noticed the others and how some of their Digimon were transforming. "Is that what you mean? You change?" "Correct! Normally it takes a really really long time, but with your help it will happen much faster. You and me share a special bond that connects your energy with mine. It's that bond that let's us Digivolve so quickly. Actually, I already feel full of energy ever since you got here." Suddenly, Sunmon started to change into a ball of light. "Sunmon digivolve to... Coronamon!" The ball of light grew and after a bright flash there now stood a bipedal lion cub wearing metallic wristbands and an odd headpiece that seemed to be on fire, just like the tip of it's tail. "See, now I'm better, faster, and stronger!" exclaimed Coronamon. "Wow... this is really strange. Well I guess if you wanted to hurt me you would have done it already, so I guess that means you were telling the truth." "Sure was! We're partners, for better or for worse!" "Well we might as well go see what all those other people are arguing about," Eric said, looking over at the group of people. Most of them seemed to be arguing amongst themselves, and two digimon looked like they were ready to break out into a fight. Eric walked over to the dino-fox, the bat, and their partners and raised his voice. "What's going on here?" he demanded. Despite looking younger than the rest of them his voice still held plenty of commanding force. "What point is there in fighting amongst eachother. If what these Digimon are saying is true then we are here for a good reason, and I doubt that reason is fighting over who's the strongest." |

Solmon stared in a mixture of disbelief, confusion, and weariness as the newcomers tussled and...debated amongst themselves. Aside from a small minority, the caretaker knew, these were children. Still, they were inherently special children. As the digimon formerly under her care began embracing the humans, memories stirred in the other digimon, remembrances of dreams and half-formed concepts, of creatures that existed beyond the Digital World and could only be vaguely hinted at in the unconscious.
Eyeing the rabble, Solmon searched through her memory, trying to recall if these were what she had envisioned so long ago, but time had utilized its invitation and such thoughts were lost to her. The youngsters corralled behind her however found solace in such new figures, a living embodiment of their hazy imaginings. And although she highly doubted that any malicious intent, or even ability, resided in this motley group, her first thought was of the safety of her wards. "Where do you come from? Who do you offer to liege to: Bansheemon or the Meramon?" Although her facial features were unreadable to those trained in finding subtle gradations in human faces, her voice could not betray a tinge of hope in the latter name.
