What Character are you in SSB:m? - Page 4

Usually I use Link, but sometimes I'll use Roy or Shiek.

Link: His sword packs a decent punch, he has the widest array of weaponry in the game, and his range attacks are both VERY long ranged and can be used for many things in the hands of a creative fellow. His recovery move is difficult to stop unless you know what you're doing (Or score a lucky/ranged hit), and since it's fast and has a good range, it can also be used to get enemies away from you, or be used as an excellent edge-camping move. No matter what your style is, you can always find a good use in Link.

Roy: Personally, I prefer Roy over Marth. Marth has a lot of speed, sure, but so does Capt. Falcon, and the latter also packs a powerful punch (Literally). Roy is also powerful, and he's more meant for brawling than Marth is (His point of damage is the center of the blade, while Marth's is the tip; Not all that helpful since neither have any ranged attacks whatsoever). And anything looks cooler when it's on fire.

Shiek: For one, Shiek is a ninja-person.

...Okay, seriously, I just like how extremely fast Shiek is. If you're experienced in using him/her, you can effortlessly keep an opponent in the air for a long time, and Shiek can change targets very easily (Turns quickly, goes from standing to full speed almost instantly, and does just about EVERYTHING faster than most other units). Shiek isn't really meant for combating many folks at once, but he/she can run away from tight situations with little fear of being attacked on the way (Due to the aforementioned massive acceleration; Most folks "skid" a little before reaching top speed). Only particular downer as far as I'm concerned is the lack of effectiveness of most of his/her B moves. The needles aren't that great and not very long ranged, the Chain leaves you extremely open to attack, and the recovery is a bit too easy to mess up.

Kirby. No repeat tactics. I constantly change tactics, so no one can pinpoint me. Mostly, I love Kirby's cheap fly move. Bwahha.
I like to use Kirby when he has Bower's power. Not only does he look uber-cool, but I love his power there.

I almost always use Adult Link. i always love hitting someone from afar with the boomerang and then beating them up close range with my sword.

otherwise, i just use falco. he's like an uber version of fox. and besides, he's a freaking talking blue bird!

I use Falco. He's faster than Fox in Melee, I don't use the specials that much, and my brother and I usually combo as Fox and Falco.

Otherwise, I use Link or Pikachu. Link, for the reasons stated above, and Pikachu for the thunder attack, the skullbash, and the general melee attacks.

Precisely the reason I really loathe people who use Sheik religiously. She's too fast to hit, too fast to keep near you, or anything. It's like fighting a cat; no matter what you do, you're too large and too slow to hit with. And the fact that hits most often stun to a very very very slight degree, the impact itself, allows infinite combos.

I also forgot to mention my love for Gannondorf. It's probably just the badass cape and stance, but I love doing his forward punch. If you hit....

Yeah.

Lol I get KO'd that way all the time, whenever I'm not playing seriously I play funny.. Like Luigi in flamboiant pink.. Then i use the running sissy slap over and over. Or I do the same move(with comedy value of course.. not just any move) repetitively until it works. Also My friend Matt is the LUCKIEST player ever. We got him to 999 with fox's gun, then hit him with Ganon's crazy punch... HE LIVED!

I use Link, Kirby, or Pikachu, just cause I enjoy to stab things, shock things, and beat things down. may be out of order there...

I'm pretty good with any character except for Fox, Falco, Mr. Game & Watch, Mewtwo, and Donkey Kong.

As for the characters I normally pick, I usually go random on SSBM, but if I choose, I guess my main people would be Link, Peach, Pikachu, and Pichu.

Donkey Kong get's me lots of cheap KOs, but Luigi has been more effective for me against varied fighters.

Kirby is pretty good, but ironically I hate trying to control jiggly puff. Samus works for me, but the 'taller' charecters get killed all the time when I control them, becuase I generally am not very good at the game.
