Story Heroes Ch. 1: "We are born!"

Luke had been in the hallway, using the force to try to heal himself and keep the overwhelming swarms of Imps back, since he still didn't feel up for lightsaber combat. He headed back to the room they had started in to find the others there, along with a new woman, and a strange blue centaurian alien, who he had heard in his head. since no one else had talked. Luke said, "This is all a strange situation, and I don't think any of us truly know what is happening here, but these monsters are also quite obviously of the dark side, and we need to destroy them to save the survivors of this station and to learn what is happening here."

[Raiden]

Roland nodded.

"And since they brought this woman in, who knows how many more of us there are. If this place goes down, our hero brethren go with them."

I can't allow that to happen again. Cuthbert, I allow them to die like before., Roland thought to himself. He reached into his pack, and pulled out his poke of tobacco. He rolled himself a cigarette, and lit it. He took a deep smoke, and pulled his guns up.

"The sooner we're done here, the sooner we get answers." Roland ran out to the hallway. Some more Juggernauts and Imps were running towards him. He shot out with his guns, taking out many of the Kattos.

[Squishy Cheeks]

Garion went back into battle. He still wasn't as comfortable with the sword as Hettar was, He still did quite good with his big knife. He cut down several of the creatures. "Could you give me some help." He asked the orb. The sword flared brighter. The kattos stopped seing the flared blue blade.

<So very confusing...> Ax said, running along with Roland and slicing any of the strange creatures that got close. He briefly considered morphing into one of the creatures, but he decided that he couldn't afford to wrestle briefly with these savage creatures minds.

<Hmm...maybe...if I sent out a wide range message...> Ax 'said' to the general are, <Please be prepared for some startdleness...> Ax prewarned, then stopped and closed his 'head' eyes.

<ANYONE WHO NEEDS ASSISTANCE PLEASE CALL OUT OR SIGNAL, AND WE WILL BE DELIGHTED TO HELP> Ax 'screamed'. <I hope that reaches everyone...such a fascinating place, if it werent for the killer...things...>

[Domon]

Johnny curled in a wet ball of gooieness; woke by the sound of killing decides to NOT be naked any more grabs his cloths and assortment of sharp things and joins in. Johnny takes one of his uber sharp knives and decapitates one of the Katto creatures jams an axe in to anothers chest and kills a third with a long poison filled needle.

“That was fun!” he thinks as he runs to catch up with the others.

He( to the group ) asks “Did I die again?"

Luke headed out into the hall as well, feeling better with the help of some minor force healing and just beign up and about for a while after they got out. He activated his lightsaber, and felt himself flow inot the force. The creatures minds were cahotic and random, but they clearly thought out how to attack and communicated their attacks. Luke saw this all through the force, and as a wave of Imps attacked him, he was the force itself, giving him up to it and letting it guide his blade high and low, ducking stabs and bites, and using his blade to sever limbs and bodies with a strange grace to his actions. Soon the Imps thined, revealing two juggernauts who roared and charged. He sweapt himself up with the force, flying over ones head and sending his blade burning a slash through it's head, then used his blade to cut the other one off at the leg before it could turn around. The seocnd one did a clumsy skip and fell towards Luke, who easily sliced off hands and talons as it reached to tear him apart with it's dying actions, and Luke mercifully killed it with one stab. Then continued down the now cleared hall, feeling exhausted again but knwoing he must continue, and recognizing he could put himself in a jedi healing trance after the battle was over.

Ax watched amazed as Luke gracefully cut through the creatures with the lightsaber, and his four eyes couldn't decide what to be more amazed by, the saber or the weilder. He trotted by Luke's side, noticing the obvious weariness of the warrior.

<If you want, I can carry you...though, not in this form...wait a second...> Ax thought to Luke, then stood still, concentrating on the form he desired.

As Luke watched, Ax's torso seemed to melt into his body, his four legs becoming stumpier, his stalks retracting into his head, and a giant horn sprouting in their place. His body sunk lower as the legs shortened then blossomed out, his stomach area fattening and covering in a grey coating.

A few seconds later he was now a rhino, and beckoned (as only rhinos can) for Luke to get on.

<I won't kill you or anything, just trying to help>

Luke nodded wearily and said, "Thank you for your help, when we can push them back then I should be fine in the future, but just breaking out of those tubes, and going straight into combat is tiring me out." Luke climbed on the Rhino's back and used the force to try to keep himself going and sooth some of his weary muscles.

[Squishy Cheeks]

Belgarion could here something, it didn't sound like sorcery but it sounded similar. He used the flames from his sword like a whip driving the Kattos infront of him. Periodically one would succomb to burns. He turned to see a warrior wielding a blade of flame and light. (Luke)The sound was coming from him. There was also a rhinocerous. A juggernaut was coming towards him from behind. "BURN!!!" The familiar buildup and realese swept over him. The flames lept like a spear from the sword and struck the creature in the chest. The flames spread on the juggernaut. Garion was out of breath.
