I personally don't think that a PO would roleclaim on the first day and then say that he/she has fingered a mafiate on the first night so FOS: CmP.
However, there is also a chance that he could be telling the truth so FOS: IHMN.
I don't see enough evidence to trust or distrust CmP right now, nor do I see a reason to think IHMN is or is not a mafiate, at least, not enough for a vote.

Well, in that case, what would the benefit be if I was a mafiate or townie or cultist that roleclaimed PO on the first day? If I wasn't the PO, I would be investigated by the real PO the next day and revealed as a fraud. Also, I would be hazarding a guess with my 'investigation' and would then be revealed a fraud once IHMN died.

I roleclaimed so quickly because I realize that I can get things off to a good start. As long as the BG remains hidden and protecting me, I can investigate someone each night and reveal their role, assuring that we lynch only mafiates and save as many townies from wrongful bandwagoning.
