Ara ara!
|
It seemed to me to be more:
POS: I didn't say you could make the Robohobo do stuff. Arhra: But all I did was elaborate on the details of an attack that has already happened. POS: I am not listening! Well, that is something of a caricature. For a more accurate summary, I initially thought POS had confused it for a new attack. I could definately see why he'd had such a reaction if that had been the case. On learning that there was no such misunderstanding, I was baffled. POS had already approved TBM's attack. All I was doing was fleshing out a few details of something that has already happened. The details had not been explicitly stated but how else could it have suspiciously resembled a certain anime scene? My question is how the hell is a little elaboration on something that's already happened considered godmodding? I'm perfectly happy to check if something that's a little out there is alright (like, say, summoning sniper cannons, creating artificial life, fusing with someone to create a sin against god, multiplying the sin against god, fundamentally screwing with the fabric of space and time, general multiplying and starting/ending fights with parallel universe weirdos), but this is just decoration. Nothing is changed, it doesn't do anything at all!

Arhra, it honestly sounds like he didn't mind all the attacks so much, is that you detailed how the bots reacted. That is what I think POS is mad about, whats so hard about that?

And now, to totally change the subject, as I find squabbles of this nature to be boring, I give you a random TV station!
"Encuentro que el forma-cambiar es un muy violento persona, y también muy pervertido." This post has been subtitled for the hearing disabled. "I find that the shape-changing one is a very violent person, and also a very perverted one. "

You know what? Fuck it. I can't do this anymore.
I don't have a lot of patience for much of anything at the moment, and it may make me behave unfairly. I'll accept that. However, what I ask is that when I, as the only functioning GM here at the moment, come to you on official business, that you do not continue to run your metaphorical mouth when I tell you that what you did was outside the spectrum of the rules. I don't care and I don't want to hear it. It's not a debate. "Suspiciously like" does not mean "exactly like", and those actions were not explicitly stated in TBM's post, only alluded to in a pop-culture reference. As TBM did not actually state that they took place, I did not assume they did. Arhra decided to take the interpretation literally and essentially retold the story and taking a great deal more liberties with character control than was permitted. I requested that, in the future, I be informed and asked if this is permissible, even though I will allow it to slide this once. I was then told that I had, in fact, given permission. I asked when, and Arhra told me that my not complaining about TBM's post was a signature of approval for his (Arhra's) post. It was not, and I needed that to be clear to Arhra, who continued to fight me on the issue. And so, after about 45 minutes or so of it and Arhra needing to leave to catch a train, thus halting the dialogue, I was left with no recourse but to suspend Arhra until this situation could be resolved. What this should be is a learning experience that, yes, this is considered more than just "decoration" and needs to be run by me in advance. This is not a request. This is a rule.

Nah, we're still going. Feel free to post, as it's the only way I can move things along.
Then again, Flare's already done so, but it's good advice for the rest of you, too. EDIT: And Arhra's un-suspended because, I mean, fuck it.

I'm working under the assumption that if somebody who did something stupid involving taking your stuff without asking now takes your energy, also without asking, you've got free reign to literally explode and possibly turn half the building into swiss pudding in the process.
I give it maybe three posts before I do this thing.

Also as a note, I have thrown an elephant before, and no one contested. I really see no difference in throwing a robot.
